Patience is Key

Days and years go past yet,

Loneliness seems to be your only companion

Feeling emptier than the Grand Canyon.

Dancing alone in a room

Feeling like you are unable to bloom

Yet when you look up at the sky,

With its clouds and its bright blue,

Know that someone might be doing that too

Someone in which loneliness will disappear

Who will share your cheer

Who will love every part of you.

But please remember, patience is key

So hold your plea,

Because one day, they will be there

It will happen without warning

Night, afternoon or morning

They will smile and you will feel that spark

They will laugh with you,

They will care for you,

And most importantly, they will love you.
