Briar texted me a few minutes later: I'll be there in a few minutes. Jack wanted to make sure everything was perfect for her. God ...how am I supposed to survive to go through an hour of not trying to get lost in her eyes...

"Ding-dong".Jack rushed to the door and nervously opened the door, only to see the woman-of-his-dreams."Hey Jack."
"Hey Briar" Jack leaned on the front door (trying to act cool) and accidentally slips and loses his balance. Briar holds on to him and asks him."Jack, are you okay?" Jack was embarrassed and decided to play it off cool.

There you go, Jack, you did it again. First the coffee, now this. You should really ask Corbyn how he does it so smoothly with Christina.

"Yeah I'm fine" and Jack and Briar embraced and just admired each other's presence for what seemed like hours. Until Jack said "So do you wanna meet MA BOI's" "Who?" Jack remembered that he had never mentioned the boys or the band to Briar, just to make sure she met them first. "Yo guys .." he paused "I want you to meet someone." The Boys came down the stairs and each one of them politely greeted her.

"Hey my name's Corbyn, you must be Briar." "Nice to meet you Corbyn" And gently locked his arms around her tiny, short body. "Hi my name's Zach, it's a pleasure to finally meet you." And hugged her. "Hey I'm Jonah .." he stopped to look at her face for a moment. "You look very familiar, have we met or seen each other somewhere?" Briar's face turned red with worry, did he possibly know or meet Myles? Were they friends?... A billion questions popped in her head and she kind of zoned out, until Jack started questioning what was going on and asked her "Are you okay?" His warm scent filled her with relief because she knew with him, she was safe. "Yeah, I'm better than okay, I'm great"...

and she turned to face Daniel, the last in line. "Hi, I'm Daniel, Its so nice to finally see and meet you, in like ..Real Life." "Thanks, I guess, you too," Briar said and scratched her head and Daniel unrestrainedly bear-hugged Briar really tight. To the extent, she couldn't breathe and later on, he realized that and put her down. And stared at her long enough for Briar to feel uncomfortable and for Jack to shoot him a death stare but he didn't become aware of what was going on. Jonah ended up kicking him and then he got the idea of what was going on. "Sorry.." he mumbled but it wasn't loud enough for anyone to hear it.

"Make yourself at home." Jack welcomely said. And angrily pulled Daniel outside and said: "What the f*ck was that?" "I don't know, I accidentally zoned out, I'm sorry. Plus you aren't even dating so you have not right to get mad at me ." "Shut the f*ck up and you know how much I like her." He turned and started walking away and then stopped and said: "You know I never found anyone that I can talk to like her." And went back inside. Daniel thought for a moment I can't do this to my friend he deserves better ..now stops thinking about yourself and think about Jack.

Daniel walked in and tried to act calm. Briar was sitting on the couch and laughing at Corbyn and Jonah's jokes. Jack went and sat next to Briar on the couch. And asked everyone "What does everybody want for dinner?" "PIZZA!" Everyone screamed. Zach demanded to have his special domino's order "I want a crunchy thin crust pizza with beef and ranch dressing."

20 minutes later: Jonah said, "Pizza's Here!" "Okay, Briar And I will go to the rooftop and eat there," Jack said. Briar followed Jack up the stairs and when they got up to the top. Briar admired the stars "Jack it's beautiful." "It reminds me of someone very beautiful." she blushed as he said as turned to look at her. He put a blanket down, and he gazed down at her endlessly. And said "sit down Bri, let's eat"

Time skip: after they finished the pizza.

"Boy, I'm stuffed." "That was some good pizza" they both agreed to lay down and appreciate the stars. They didn't speak about anything deep until Jack had the guts to ask. "Have you ever been in a relationship?" Briar hesitated to speak before she realized it was Jack she's talking to. Jack nestled his arms around Briar and spoke shortly later "You know what, don't tell me until you're ready to talk about it." "I was in a relationship with a guy back in high school but he abused me and I haven't been in a relationship since." Jack comforted Briar as she started to tear up. "Bri you deserve better."

I would treat you better. I never met a girl so beautiful, sweet and caring.
