Part 7

Selena's pov

The next day I went to school, everyone was staring at me weirdly and whispering. I heard someone say 'is that a new girl?' ' no I think that's Selena' 'wow she looks nerdy'. I had tears forming but I stayed strong and kept walking to my locker. I felt someone tap my shoulder saying:"hi. Um that's my friends locker. Where did you find her pass code. I'm gonna get my friend and she's gonna...." He kept babbling on till I finally cut him off.

Selena: I AM SELENA!!

That's when I realized I just yelled at Austin, stupid Austin.

He studied my face then his eyes widen.

Austin: Selena?

Selena: that's what I said did I not?

Austin: b-but what happened to your face? Did you get glasses? When did you get those glasses? Is that why you were-

Selena: AUSTIN SHUT YOUR FACE!!

He mumbled a sorry. I checked if it was okay for me to speak and he nodded.

Selena: well the reason I wasn't at school was because I had a eye doctor appointment. That's why i had Justin did the prank for me.

Austin: Ohhhhhhhhh. Now I get it.

Selena: speaking of Justin, where is Justin?

Austin shrugged his shoulders.

Austin:I don't even know. I haven't seen him all this morning.

Wow. Justin? He's usually always with Austin and Vanessa. Also where is Vanessa?

Austin: where's Vanessa? Oh she said she had to go pack for some things. She said that she would 'text you the detes'.

He said in a girly voice at the end of the sentence.

Selena: oh okay.

I saw Justin walk by with some new friends I suppose.

Austin: hey Justin!

Justin just gave him a nod then he said a 'sup'. What the heck. Justin does not say 'sup'. I stared closely Justin and noticed...this darn boy got a haircut. A freaking haircut. His hair is still pretty long but it's shorter than usual.

Justin: Um dude, can you tell your friend to quit starring at me?

He looked at me weirdly then just walked away with his new group.

Austin mumbled an okay then turned to me.

Austin: um selly. New Justin said stop starring.

Selena: I know what he said dork.

I rolled my eyes at him by the way he sounded stupid.

Austin: hey, I'm not the dork here. Do you see me wearing glasses?

I just groaned in annoyance and walked to class.

So far my day is going great. Note the sarcasm.....
