Morning came and Namjoon's parents arrived early, just like he said they would. What surprised me is the fact that he came by himself to announce that to me instead of sending Mily.
"They're here." He said opening the door and being a bit careful not to intrude my privacy. He was a bit sweaty despite the fact that it was still morning. He must be worried and so was I. He sighed and came in.
"Do you think they'd like me?" I anxiously sked Namjoon. I didn't even know why I was asking such a question as I was only a fake. Did it matter?
"There isn't anything to not like about you. You'll be fine." He put his hands over mine and nibbled with my fingers. "We have to go. They're eager to see you. Mom especially.." He said as he led me downstairs.
'Mom especially' that word rang in my head. Maybe movies added to the larger percentage of fear I had for rich potential Mother-in-laws, but judging from the first look on her face when I set my eyes on her....my thoughts just had to be buried in the depth of my soul for the meantime.
"See....what did I tell you?" His mother was the first to make a statement. She looked at me lovingly and she looked back at his father. She was very beautiful, though a little younger than I expected. She was now facing her husband, with an expression of victory mixed with total satisfaction, which was questionable at the moment but I only smiled nervously at Namjoon and he just gave me a comforting look.
"Don't----"
"I knew he wouldn't disappoint me. I asked for a daughter-in-law that's beautiful like me and he gave me one. What else could I ask for?" She questioned making me blush. She was indeed beautiful, no, gorgeous and her confidence levels were above the roof.
"Mom..." Namjoon started, having found his way behind me. He was now giving me a mini back hug and I wish he wouldn't notice but I was having goosebumps. Not because it was him but because I had never been this physically close to a guy in all twenty five years of my life. I know what you're thinking, Yes, Girls like me still exist. ".....this is Y/N. And Y/N, My Mom and Dad." He said and I just smiled not sure how to respond.
"You know, since he was a small boy, he has never shown interest in any lady. It was just him and books...all the time."
"Mom, was that necessary?"
"Of course it is, did you know how happy I was when you told us you wanted to introduce Y/N to us?" She protested and Namjoon gave up.
"Y/N darling, come sit with me." His mother motioned for me to come sit next to her. But before I could pull away from Namjoon, he whispered to my ears and the goosebumps came again.
"I told you, they'd like you."
Whatever~"So tell me about yourself." His mother started and I could feel a tiny sensation in my cheeks. It was happening~
"There's nothing much to know about me." I replied, feeling a bit shy to answer and also being a bit careful not to spill the unnecessary. But I guess it was okay.
"Don't give me that. Tell me, what are you into? Business? Fashion?"
"Actually I run a small bakery and I'm thinking of getting a bigger space for development when I return home."
"That's nice. I love baking too and you have totally no idea how much I've always wanted a daughter to do these things with."
"That's why I fell in love with her." His father spoke for the first time and I couldn't help but giggle at how free they were with each other and me, a stranger still~
"That is a fat lie. You fell in love with me because you liked to eat." His mother countered. I had to admit, they were nothing like I imagined they'll be. They were fun to be with, not like other parents, rich or not, that will start judging their son's girlfriend based on first impressions."How about your parents?"

"When is the wedding holding?" His mom asked facing me and I went red instantly. Wedding? So fast? I hadn't even had the thought. I mentally face palmed. Why should I even think about that? I gently kicked Namjoon from the bottom of the table. I was not expecting this talk. I didn't even think she would like me.
"Mom, we haven't talked about that yet. I just wanted to introduce her to Dad and you first." Namjoon said and I rub my palms together below the table. He just saved my ass but even though, his father seemed so chill about it, his mother was not taking it....at all.
"Don't tell me you haven't proposed yet?" She turned to me "Has he not proposed to you yet?" She querried. Definitely, Namjoon couldn't save me this time. I had to say something.
"Mother, I think its a little bit early for that." I replied, not noticing I had just jumped from frypan to fire.
"What are you waiting for? Do you want to have kids first?" Kids? What? I love kids! Stop it Y/N, you're not supposed to even think about it.
"Mother!"
"Don't tell me you not done it yet?" She asked moving her finger between Namjoon and I, I chocked immediately. How could she look so cool while saying those words? This talk was definitely not meant for this place. I was about to reply when Namjoon cut in.
"Mom, if what you are curious about is if Y/N is a virgin, then that's true. However we don't plan on getting married soon so please can we not have this conversation at all or at least not on the dining table. Its nauseating."
"It's not nauseating. You both are just like your father and I. I was also a virgin until....him."
"Mom!!!" Namjoon said again making his cutlery click against the dish.
"Don't worry darling...." she continued. As if her son wasn't just talking to her. "....I can show you the hooks." She said patting my thighs warmly. "And you...." she pointed her fork to Namjoon and continued "....don't you dear let her run away."
If this is how its gonna be, then maybe it is harder than I thought. I didn't think I'll be able to live through a whole two days of having this kind of talk. It made me weak as it wasn't real. I had no choice I had to call Chae~
Maybe he hadn't really considered this but if they like me too much, it may be a bit of a problem for Namjoon.A/N Please do share my ff with your friends and have a nice day.
