"There's no way I'm putting that on." My face gave out a total of ten different expressions of displeasure at the dress Chae had suggested for the 'date' with Kim Namjoon.
"Come on Y/N. There's nothing wrong with it."
"It's too revealing. I can't wear that. And besides, we're just going to TALK." I said in hopes to clear any misunderstanding she may have, making sure to emphasize the last word. But it proved futile.
"Then what do you wanna wear?" She questioned, folding her arms. "No matter what you plan on doing, there's no way I'm letting you out of this house in that pink dress....it makes you look like a schoolgirl. You're meeting up with Kim Nam Joon, if it were me....." she paused and continued "Let's not go there. You're not wearing that....no, not today."
"Actually, that's what I plan on wearing." I huffed in annoyance at the fuss Chae was making at something I thought should be simple. "It's not like I'm dressing to impress him or anything" I rolled my eyes.
"Of course not.....You're dressing to slay him and this will be the perfect dress for that." she winked as she carefully laid the dress in front of me.

"This is annoying Chae, I swear if he doesn't show up in 5minutes, I'm leaving."
"Have some patience dear. I dressed you up so fabulously that it'd hurt my heart if my golden work goes unappreciated....by him"
"CHAE!!!" I groaned in annoyance. "You know I didn't do all of this for him, I dressed up to look presentable." I replied.
"....for him" she completed.
"As if~"
"Whatever you say baby. If he's gonna pay thousands of dollars, you've gotta look like you're worth it and more." She replied with a gentle laugh mocking my naivety and hung up just in time for him to step in. Even after going through his profile online. His appearance was better than I thought. I had to admit, I preferred this hardcopy. He was not too handsome, not too tall either. He had a little touch of every desirable masculine physical quality, just like that of my dream man. Perfect.
"I'm late." He said. Nice way to start a conversation.
"Obviously." I bit my lower lip and he smiled at my response. Oh, dimples too. Maybe this whole setup did have bright sides.
"I'm sorry for keeping a lady waiting but I did mention that I was a very busy man." He replied raising his eyes. "Kim Nam Joon." He said extending his hand for a handshake. "Nice to meet you Mr. Kim. I'm Jung Y/N."
"Just Namjoon would do."
"Are you sure?" I quizzed, not sure if he was really being nice or he was just pretending to be.
"Its okay....really." He let out a full smile this time. He wasn't one to really make one drool but there was something about the way he smiled that made my heart tug.
"So, let's get down to business."
"I'd rather we eat first. I'm famished." He said holding up the menu. I chuckled at his action and my shoulders dropped, resulting from a ease of tension I had a few minutes before he entered.
After eating, he continued the conversation~
"You're coming in tomorrow evening." He suddenly said, making me instantly choke on my juice.
"Excuse me? What?"
"My parents are taking the early morning flight on Saturday. Sleeping over is our best and only option. You arriving around the same time with them will make us to look unnatural to them."
"Us?"
"Yes. Us." He reminded me.
"Urgh....yeah. Us." I smiled nervously. I just had to pretend to be his fiancee for a weekend, right?
"Can I ask you something?" I remembered a question which had been bothering my mind.
"Sure. Go ahead."
"Why are you pretending to have a girlfriend when you clearly don't?"
"I guess I have to make this clear. I'm only doing this with you because MJ recommended you. If you don't want to do this, I'm totally cool with it...And please, no personal questions." My face flushed immediately. He had a way of politely making someone embarrassed. "The check will come in latest by tomorrow morning. And that would be all. Any other questions?"
"No....Sir"
