Chapter 13

During the night I woke up, unexpectedly. Joe woke up because I kept up.

"Are you ok?" Joe asked concerned.

I ran to the toilet, and threw up multiple times. I couldn't stop, I didn't have anything left to throw up. Joe had followed me in and held my hair up. I was sick all the rest of the night. Joe stood by me the whole time. I didn't know what it was. I must have caught a bug.

Caspar came in when he woke up at that point I was done, nothing was coming up. Joe was still stood next to me. I fell asleep and I could feel Joe carrying me to our bed. I opened my eyes. "I'm fine, I'll be upstairs in a minute or two." I said sitting up.

"Your going nowhere. Get some rest" Joe left the room briefly and came back down with his laptop, which he left upstairs, and a bacon sandwich, which, I had said that earlier in our relationship, made me feel better when I was ill. He passed me the sandwich, sat down next to me, put the laptop between us and put on mean girls, the film I watched when I was ill.

"Awww Joe!thank you!" I smiled up at him.

"Anything for you" he said leaning down and kissing me.

Caspar came in to check I was ok, but I was asleep, I know he came in cause Joe told me.

I had a dream. I dreamed of the perfect life, and it was odd, because I'd had the exact same dream before Joe and I were a couple, and it was completely different. Now it was a life with Joe. It was perfect, and I could feel myself smiling. When I woke up, Joe was lying next to me, looking at me. "Your so beautiful" he whispered.

I had eaten the sandwich, but what I didn't know was that I couldn't eat anything because the bug I had was making me sick anytime I ate, so straight after he said that I went running to the toilet. Once again throwing up. Joe held my hair back again. Once it was all done I walked back to the bed. But before I got there, I collapsed, I was just light headed from the throwing up. "Amber! Your not going anywhere today!"

My phone buzzed just after Joe said that, Zoe was calling.

Z:"Hey! Haven't seen or heard from you in ages hope your ok!"

A:"Actually, I'm ill right now, I've been throwing up a lot and I'm quite dizzy right now, so I'm not moving today..."

Z:"I'm coming over tomorrow to say hello. Hopefully you'll be better, got a lot to tell you!"

A:"See you tomorrow"

And with that Zoe hung up. I went to sleep after that, and it slept all night, Joe asleep next to me.

I woke up late the next day, feeling fine. I ate something and it stayed down. I went upstairs and I was fine, Zoe had texted me saying she was on her way over. There was a knock at the door, Joe went over and got the door.

"Hey Zoe! Long time no see!"

"Hey Joe, I'm here to talk with Amber!" Zoe smiled.

"Are you ok?" She asked remembering what I told her yesterday.

"Yeah I'm perfectly fine. So what did you want to tell me?"

She smiled with excitement, "Alfie and I are... Having a baby together! I'm pregnant!" She squealed.

"Oh. My. God. Congratulations! I said hugging her. "How far along are you?"

"I'm 3 months now!" I couldn't tell when I first saw her, but she had a small bump forming.

"I couldn't be happier for you both!" I smiled. Joe hugged Zoe not say anything. "I can't believe I'm going to be an uncle!" Joe smiled.

"And we've decided to have the wedding in December next year!" Zoe said excitedly again.

I smiled, Zoe and Alfie were perfect together. And they were becoming a family.
