These last two books are going to be difficult to adapt to the big screen, mostly because there's so much backstory involved with both of them.
Either Esben or Bonifer explain that Esben went back into the castle to try to get the other First Book, but he was only successful in destroying his translations of it (and the other one) before he was captured; Esben had told Bonifer about the Jewels of Anniera and what power they had but had told no one except Nia that they were the children
Maybe somewhere have a scene showing what happened on the day Anniera was destroyed that ends in a kind of weird spot to make people be wondering exactly what happened to Esben; maybe could also show Esben destroying his translations of the First Books
Might have several flashbacks to Artham's backstory, the part where he sees Esben turning into a bear won't come until he has the vision of Leeli singing to the bear; at this point, Esben will notice Artham and his wings in surprise, and Artham will tell Esben to sing a new song, repeating some of the words the Maker told him
Squoon doesn't mention that he was in love with Gnag's mother, only that he did what he did for love (maybe?)
