The rest of the week passed by without much excitement.

 Minwoo went through the week ignoring his confusion, putting his full concentration on adapting to his new environment.

 Youngmin and Kwangmin attended school without any more encounters with Donghyun since their first day.

“He’s probably healing his hurt pride~” Kwangmin mused, a pleased expression gracing his features for the whole week.

Youngmin still didn’t get an answer from Kwangmin as to why he was acting so strange, since well; Kwangmin himself didn’t know the answer. Youngmin was still his happy, adorable self, even though he was still concerned for Kwangmin.

Jungmin spent the days of his first week anticipating his date with Minwoo. He thought about it when he was awake and dreamt about it when he was asleep. He talked about it when he was with someone and drew it out when he was alone. Over all, it was a breezy and happy week for Jungmin.

Hyunseong, on the contrary, had a horrible week. He went through his first week feeling annoyed and constant irritation. He was Jungmin’s best friend, with that in mind; he was always around his friend at school, which meant that he had to listen to Jungmin talk about his date with Minwoo. Why was Jungmin doing this to him? It wasn’t as if he hated Minwoo, but after that week, he might as well hate the poor boy. (A/N: Poor Minwoo, making enemies and he doesn’t even know why~) Then again, who is he to hate Minwoo? It was his fault for not letting Jungmin know his true feelings, so he just ignored all his hate and moved on with his week. (A/N: Hyunseong, you’re such a man~ :D)

(A/N: Welp, it was quite an eventful first week for our boys, wasn’t it?~ xD)

~:~ Day of the Long Awaited (according to Jungmin) Date ~:~

(A/N: So there was a y time skip~ See, I told you guys it would move a little faster~ xD)

Jungmin and Hyunseong were sitting inside Royal Café; Jungmin looking anxious, and Hyunseong looking like he would rather be anywhere else but there.

They were about ten minutes early, which was totally against Jungmin’s normal behavior, since he believed that the one being asked out on a date (even though he wasn’t really the one that was asked out, cause well, he brought the date up himself) should be ‘fashionably late’. Due to that, Hyunseong felt unhappy by the fact that his friend was changing for Minwoo when he would normally be ‘fashionably late’ when the two had plans.

Not long after, Minwoo walked in along with the twins trailing right behind him.

“Jungmin hyung, annyeong~” Minwoo greeted, bowing respectfully. “I hope you don’t mind me bringing my friends along. This is Jo Kwangmin and his brother, Jo Youngmin.”

The twins smiled as they also respectfully bowed.

“Oh, it’s okay~ I also brought a friend along. You guy’s have met, Shim Hyunseong, my best friend,” Jungmin introduced, pointing over at the man sitting next to him.

Minwoo, who had just noticed Hyunseong’s existence, began to feel a little frightened. But to his surprise, Hyunseong waved at him and the twins with a smile. Minwoo felt that the change in Hyunseong’s atmosphere was close to being unbelievable, but took it anyways because it was way better than Hyunseong’s deathly atmosphere.

“Annyeong, Hyunseong sunbae~” the three greeted, followed by another bow.

Jungmin began to say, “Don’t be so awkward, just call him hyung too~”

The other three laughed and nodded their agreement.

Jungmin continued, “Well, this turned out to be a bigger date than I expected.”

“Sorry for causing any inconvenience,” Kwangmin apologized, for himself and in place of his brother.

“We can sit at another table,” suggested Youngmin, already inching to move.

“No, no, no~ It’s okay. I also brought a friend.” Jungmin chuckled. “Hyunseong here, begged to go~”

Jungmin began to laugh as he turned to look at his best friend, only to find Hyunseong glaring at him.

The two began to have a conversation with just their minds because they are close like that~ :D (A/N: Aw yeahh~ Telepathy~)

Hyunseong: “What did you just say?”

Jungmin: “Heh. Heh. I can’t tell them I was begging, can I?”

Hyunseong: “But it’s okay to tell them that I did?”

*Flash Back*

“Hyunseongie please!”

“No.”

“Why?! I thought you were my friend!”

“Because I don’t want to and if you were MY friend, you wouldn’t be asking this of me.”

“But, but! It’s going to be so awkward! I mean, it is my first date and all.”

“How is having me there going to help anything?”

“I just need you beside me!”

“…” Hyunseong stopped. ‘Did he just say what I heard him say?’

“Fine.”

“Really?! You mean it!? You’ll go on this date with me?!”

“…sure.”

Jungmin jumped and swung his arms around Hyunseong’s muscular build. “Thank you! I love you, you life-saving big man!”

Hyunseong nodded. He was rendered speechless by Jungmin’s last comment. So he resorted to just nodding his agreement.

*End of y Flash Back*

Jungmin: “…I’ll owe you one!”

Hyunseong: “…”

Jungmin: “Please!”

“…fine.”

Jungmin turned back to the younger three, smiling sheepishly.

“I ran into them while walking here, so I asked them if they wanted to join us, I hope you don’t mind,” Minwoo clarified.

Jungmin sighed and smiled, “I told you already, it’s fine~ The more the merrier! I just made friends with two more adorable dongsaengs~ Right Hyunseongie?”

“…” Hyunseong stared at the three blankly. “Yeah.” He wasn’t lying, they were adorable.

Youngmin and Kwangmin looked at each other and giggled. Making friends was always easy for them, but none of the friendships ever turned out to be closely bonded. This time, it felt different and they were sure that they and their new hyungs would soon become great friends.
