he turns his head slightly, his lips dragging downwards as he glances at the unopened package resting on his desk.

he sits up, reaching for the box. he stares at in his lap for a few seconds, butterflies attacking his stomach as he begins to open it.

inside sat a large book, reading 'the mariam-webster dictionary'. he purses his lips before breaking out into a full smile, letting out a laugh.

as he lifts the book, a small set of nose rings sat at the bottom, along with a note.
