Hello, I'm Megan! I'm sixteen years old, my best and only friend being Michael Clifford. I've been bullied for about four years now by this guy Ashton Irwin. He always knows just what to say to make me upset. Normally people tell you to get the teachers, parents, or school involved, but everyone knows that it makes the bullying worse, welcome to my life story.

Today I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. After yesterday, I wasn't looking forward to another day at school. Ashton found me on my way home, and decided to beat me up. He's not the only one, though. His friends, Luke Hemmings and Calum Hood, help him. I just wish that it would end.
I got up, took a shower and got ready. I went to my closet and decided to wear black skinny jeans, my AC/DC shirt, and my black-and-red Vans. I walked over to my small dresser, putting some make-up on. Mostly to cover up the bruises I had from Ashton.
While I was covering a bruise that was just about my eye, I got a text. I saw it was from my friend, Michael. He wasn't at school yesterday, so that's why Ashton thought it was the perfect time to pick on me. Normally they don't mess with Michael, because he looks tough and all, but really he's just a big sweetheart.
[Lower cases and bad spelling intended]
Michael: Hey, megan, im so srry I wasn't at school yesterday! I was sick. Did ashton and them hurt you?
Me: Well, ya, kinda :/ but its ok i promise :)
Michael: I jus feel bad but hurry up because its cold outside!
When I read that, I realized he was waiting for me. I grabbed my book bag quickly along with my jacket and ran downstairs. When I opened my door, I saw Michael there. He was shivering because of the harsh cold. I jumped away from the door, the blast of cold air hitting me, and we started to walk. As we were walking to the bus stop, I hissed to him, "Idiot, one of these days you're gonna get hypothermia!"
"Ok, Mom, I swear I'll wear a coat next time!" he muttered playfully. I giggled when seeing he had his fingers crossed, and he laughed too. We slowed to a stop when reaching the bench at the bus stop a few moments later. We joked around, him giggling almost as girly as me. The bus soon pulled up, just as I was explaining the difference between squirrels and a chipmunks to him.
We walked to the back of the bus, ears and noses almost as red as Michael's old hair used to be. I sat down. We loved the back of the bus, it was warm, and there was a lot of space. We were also able to talk without people being jack asses and annoying us.
I had finished explaining the chipmunk-squirrel thing to him by the time we reached school. Micheal and I walked in quickly, not wanting to be caught by Ashton or his friends. Sadly, we don't have first period together, and we're on opposite sides of the school.
I have Science, I think he has Maths, dunno. I started to walk to my locker, but before I could do so, he pulled me close and said, "I know Luke is in your first period, so be careful. If you need me text me and I'll be there, ok?" I looked at him, and he had a worried look on his face. I nodded my head and he hugged me. I returned the hug, then we let go and split up, walking to our classes quickly.
I guess I'm really all Michael has, because his parents really don't care. They love him, but don't care if he goes to school, what he wears, or even what time he gets home.
My thoughts quickly come to a stop when I was face to face with one of the worst people in the history of man kind. Ashton. He looked at me, and very quietly, said, "Where are you going?" I looked at the ground and said, "Science." He looked to Luke, who was a little behind him, and smiled.
"I never knew you guys had first period together," he had an evil smirk playing on his face. The bell soon rang, and I was surprised. I lasted that long without getting slapped, punched, or kicked.
All I could think about in first period was Ashton and Michael. Then I felt something hit me. I looked it over to see it was a piece of paper. I looked to see if I could tell who threw it, and sure enough, it was Luke. He looked at it, then back at me, signaling me to pick it up. I warily picked it up and read what was written on it. I have to say, I'm deeply surprised by what I saw.
Listen, the stress that me, Ashton, and Calum put you through is bull shit. In all honesty, I hate it. I like Ash, but hate the fact that he bullies you. Calum and I have been wanting to tell him, but haven't been able to work up the nerve. I swear, I'll try to get him to stop. For now, I'll have to keep my tough act up. Stay strong. I promise, I'll stop the bullying.
I looked up at Luke in disbelief. He, Luke Hemmings, one of my many bully for the past four years, wants to help me. What a turn my life has took.
