I was finally able to get out of the hospital. Micheal came over every day so we could play video games. I missed being able to play with him. Then a question crossed my mind. Where was Luke?

"Hey Michael. Sorry to interrupt this, but was Luke really my ex-bully?"

"One of them. There was Ashton and Calum too. But Ashton was the worst. He liked you, and he wanted to get you off his mind, but now Luke likes you and I don't know what's gonna happen there." So basically all my ex-bullies like me. Great.

As we finished up our game, this girl came to my door. Before I could ask what she was doing at my house, she pushed right past me, and sat on my couch. "Hey Megan. Good to see you're out of the hospital. Even though I'm the one who put you in there. Ah. What a great day that was too. I thought maybe you would finally die, but sadly it never happened. Oh well. Maybe next time."

"That's what you said last time," said Michael.

"Oh, hey Michael. Glad to see you. Last I heard you were dead. What happened? I wish you were dead so that way you couldn't save Megan. Do you know how many times I tried to get rid of her? But someone ends up saving her. So I guess I need to get rid of all of her "friends" first. And what's up with you and Luke?"

I just stared at her not wanting to answer but I knew I would have to. "He likes me. Just because your're jelous doesn't mean you have to ruin my life. Get over it."

When I got done, she went to punch me, but Michael was there and grabbed her hand.

"You little whore. You think you have Luke and Ashton wrapped around your finger, huh? Well you don't. And I'm not jelous. Ashton is washed up now. I don't want him. He's gone soft. And Luke? He doesn't really like you. He just didn't want to get blamed for your death, so he was being nice. You will always be a loser."

I just stared at her, straight in the eyes. She glared back, but soon enough got uncomfortable. I tried to not get too upset but it was hard. Michael soon pushed her outside and locked the door. He ran back to me and hugged me. I started crying really hard.

"Hey, stop. Don't let that bitch get to you. She just doesn't want you to be happy."

Then we went back to playing games. When he left, I couldn't stop thinking of what Sarah had said. Maybe she was right about Luke. Maybe he was just being nice. No. He likes me. I know he likes me. But what if he doesn't? What if he actually hates me.

I honestly didn't want to date him, I think I liked this 'Ashton' person more. Even without memories. I ran into my room, looking around crazily for my blade. I was just staring at my wrists blankly.

About 10 minutes later I heard a knock on my door. I quickly answered it. When I opened it, I saw Luke.

"Hey. Michael told me what happened. Are you okay?" I looked at my wrist and back at him. "Uhh . . . yeah. I'm perfectly fine." For some reason he was acting weird. "Don't listen to her. I really do like you." Then he grabbed both my wrist. I winced out of pure instinct.

He stared at me for a while and you could tell he knew what was going on. "Megan, please tell me you didn't do anything stupid," he said, his blue eyes filled with worry. When I looked at the floor, he quickly pulled up my sleeve. I tried to tug my arm away but his grip was too tight.

"Oh my God. . . ." he said, voice trailing off. "They're not new! I threw my blades away!" I said quickly, but a tear still went down his face.

He gave me a hug, a tight secure hug. It felt as if nothing could hurt me. We finally decided to watch a movie. He picked out Mean Girls, so we layed on my couch and started watching it. I snuggled into him, sighing. I closed my eyes, letting sleep overcome my body.
