Life goes on no matter what happens to you. The earth doesn't rumble in distress, heavy storms don't pour like tears, a thousand white hot suns dont permeate through Earth's atmosphere to display how much pain one feels. It just simply stays the same, unchanging, unrecognized, the Earth and all its inhabitants remain ignorant to a single normal persons existence.

I walked out of the chief of police's office and a sigh left my throat. Overtime, I absolutely hated overtime. "Reiner let's go" I said seeing that he waited for me outside of the chief's office.

My partner nodded "Alright, hey did you get overtime?" Reiner asked.

"Yeah, this fucking blows. They really need to hire more people I am getting sick of these 13 hour shifts" I grumbled.

Reiner pat my back with a heavy hand "I know what you mean" he said and adjusted the navy blue peaked cap on his head.

I looked at him "Why the fuck do you still wear that thing?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Because I look more like a cop with it on" Reiner said.

"No, you look more like a roleplaying stripper" I said smirking.

"What the fuck ever" Reiner rolled his eyes and chuckled. "your just jealous because I get all the ladies with this hat" he said walking out of the police station.

"Hmm I should relay what you said to Annie-"

"No dont!" Reiner said.

A deep chuckle rose from my larynx "Oh my god you are so scared of her!"

"Man who isn't though?! I love her to death but sometimes she can just scare the shit out of me" Reiner said and got in the driver's seat of the police car.

"That is very true," I said getting in the passenger seat of the vehicle and buckling my seatbelt. "that is why I never go to your house"

Reiner rolled his eyes and started driving, just patrolling around town "I'm thinking of transfering to Denver" he said.

"What?! Fuck that shit no your not, not without me. I am not letting you get all the action while I just patrol around this placid town" I said with furrowed eyebrows.

"Haha man I'm just fucking with you, like Annie would let me tranfer to Denver. She'd have a stick up my ass before I can even make that suggestion to her" Reiner said.

"Aw you are such a cute couple~" I teased.

"Why thank you, you know you should really start settling down... your 25 for god's sake!"

I scoffed "1 marriage isn't my thing, and 2 I'm still young you jackass!"

"Come on atleast get a gir-" Reiner shut his mouth hearing on the radio that there was a man driving away from a robbery.

"Oh hell fucking yeah, speed the fuck up Reiner I want some action!"

Reiner smirked and pressed his foot to the gas pedal, the sirens blaring loudly through the quiet streets "What are we looking for?"

"White 97 Honda Civic" I practically yelled "Wilson St. Reiner hurry up" I grabbed his arm and shook it violently.

"I'm going! Calm your tits!" Reiner said speeding off towards Wilson St.

As we got in that general area my hands slammed down on the glove compartment "There he is there he is!" I pointed at the old Honda coming our way that was being chased be a few other cop cars. Reiner pulled in front of the Honda making the driver halt their car. I was the first to jump out of the vehicle with my gun firmly in my hands.

"Get out of the vehicle with your hands up!" I yelled, my voice rising over the sirens. The driver came out of the vehicle and Reiner went over to deal with the passenger. As I pointed my gun at the robber  andrenaline pumped through my veins "against the vehicle" I ordered. The man begrudgingly went against the car. I put my gun in my holster and cuffed him then started patting him down. What surprised me is when the guy hit me and tried getting my gun despite being cuffed. I threw a punch to his jaw making him fall to the floor "Mother fucker dont touch my gun!" I growled and just for safe keeping I tazed that crazy bitch.

Two officers came over and grabbed the guy that was on the floor and took him into their vehicle, the other guy was already taken care of. Reiner walked over to me "Oh hell ya" he said smirking and high-fived me.

With that all cleared up we went into our vehicle, glad that we actually did something today besides giving traffic tickets.

Me and Reiner sat down at a deli on our lunch break. "This is freaking delicious" I said and took another bite of my pastrami sandwich.

"You are in a great mood" Reiner said chuckling.

"Well yeah we- Aww fuck I forgot I'm working late tonight" I grumbled my good mood disappearing.

"Yep I was waiting for that to kick in" Reiner said "Jean, 4 o'clock" he then muttered.

I bobbed my head to the side and looked at a woman with red dyed hair "Nah, I dont like died hair" I said.

"How 'bout over there" He glanced at a tall brunette.

I laughed a bit "She kinda looks like Ymir, small breasts and brown short hair. Yeah no thats not type, I'm not a fan of A's. A's make me think of a 13 year old little girl and yeah I dont want to picture that, thats just weird and is pedo status"

"Man I'm just trying to help you" Reiner said chuckling.

"Aw geez your so great at it I should really be more appreciative" I said rolling my eyes becoming annoyed.

"Damn right you should be appreciative"

"I'll be appreciative when you find me a 8" I said and I knew that wasn't going to happen, this town was as plain as can be. Apparently it seems even the girls I went to high school with were at their best point at that time. Now they all kind of just have plain features and are well not so hot, I wouldnt say they are ugly.. I guess pretty would suit those once hot girls. It pains me to say, but Annie is actually pretty hot compared to a lot of girls. But I swear to fucking god all the hot girls my age are taken in this town. Damn Mikasa and Krista, they both kind of pissed me off. Mikasa went off and married Eren and Krista is with Ymir. Just fuck my life, I'll just probably have to go to Denver to find a babe.

"Damn what about that hot piece of ass over their?" Reiner said loudly and pointed at the door to someone who was entering.

I audibly facepalmed seeing it was Bertholdt, the guy was blushing and sweating a bit because Reiner's comment. Poor guy.
