Believing that it will get better
Hoping and praying
Does nothing

Nobody's listening
Only you can make a difference
I believe in nothing
I hate humanity
Okay sure.
I like people
I have friends
I appreciate my family
But we as a race
The 7 billion of us
Collectively
Are a shit show
What bloody good are we?
We are a social species
Yet there is so much conflict
And so much war
And so much prejudice
And so much insolence
And so much discrimination
And so much horror
And so much vengeance
And so much anger
And so much fear
And so much fighting
And so much hatred
And so much detest
And so much evil
And so much madness
And so much violence
And so much terror
And so much distraught
And so much death
That we have caused
To each other
Time and time again
What use does praying do?
What use does wishing do?
What use does hoping do?
What use does believing do?
Believing...
Believing for a brighter tomorrow
