Flash strut into the school, a smug smile on his face, exposing his yellow teeth. He was looking forward to seeing Wade down in the dumps. That's what he deserved for dumping Flash! So when Flash saw Wade leaning against a desk inside the classroom, talking to other students casually, even laughing a bit, sort of confused him.

Why was Wade so happy? Didn't his highschool love life just get kicked in the balls?

Flash took in a deep breath before sitting down. Wade was most likely still hurting inside, he had to be!

Wade finally spotted Flash and waved at him bubbly. "Sup, Eugene." before sitting down. Before Flash could make up a snarky remark, the teacher walked in. "Okay everyone, take your seats."

It's only the beginning of the day, it'll darken for him.

Or atleast that's what Flash thought.

Wade POV

Decathlon club,  how perfect. I walked in with Ned, the two of us talking about something irrelavent. As soon as we walked in, I see Flash kissing the teacher's ass. Ned snorted. "Mr. Harrington. Because that Loser Parker transferred, I should be taking his place, right?"

Oh yeah, Flash could benefit from  Peter dropping out of the Decathlon team.

Mr. Harrington didn't even look at Flash. "Actually, Wade is taking Peter's role in the team, he said matter-of-factly. MJ, who was drawing in her little book, looking up, blowing her curls out of her eye. "Peter didn't leave, he's actually managing the Decathlon club," MJ stated.

Flash paused, before looking at her. "What?"

I grinned, watching MJ look back down at her book with a smug smirk. "Yeah, Peter's loyal to the Decathlon club. With the Tony Stark being his boss, he is funding the school specifically for this club. His spot in the team is only his."
"But, he's gone," Flash retorted, his arms crossed.

"Not exactly," Abraham spoke up, from his seat beside MJ. "If you haven't noticed, Tony Stark tagged the school on his Twitter account, showing his support for us." I couldn't help but laugh. "Peter truly is something, isn't he?"

Flash shook his head in disbelief. "Impossible."

"It's true. When we do Nationals again this year he promised he was going to show up," MJ continued, before pulling out a nail file. Mr. Harrington clapped his hands together, clearly tired of the conversation. "Let's just get to work shall we?"

As I took my seat, I would look at Flash in the corner of my eye with a grin. Flash looked honestly shook. So when he suddenly stood up, knocking his chair over in the process, everyone looked at him with wide eyes and confusion. "Can I--" Flash looked down at his feet. "Be excused?"

Mr. Harrington studied him, before nodding.

Flash stormed out of the gym where the Decathlon club was being held. His hand was slowly curling into a fist, he was grinding his teeth violently. He felt as though he was gonna snap.

"No, no way," Flash turned a corner. "Parker's down, he lost the battle." "Has he won the war?"

Hannah came bounding out of one of the classrooms, where the music club was being held. She was holding her phone up to her ear, saying something. However, she was too far away for any words to be coherent.

She seemed so focused on what she was saying, but then she looked up and saw Flash. Her looked deepened for a moment, a frown on her face, before transforming into a smile. She immediately hung up, disregarding whoever was on the phone before skipping over to Eugene.

"Hi, Babe~" Hannah plucked a speck off of Flash's shoulder. "How's class, is Wade still gloomy and sad," Hannah bit her lip at the thought.
"No..." Flash's words didn't sound all that sure.

Hannah pouted, leaning against the wall with an exasperated groan. "Damn. Well, he's holding back, ya'know. He's gotta keep up that reputation," Hannah playfully elbowed Flash in the ribs.

Flash hummed. Hannah grabbed his chin gently before pulling his lips towards her own. The kiss wasn't much, but it was soft, just to get his attention a bit.

"You still got me, Flashy. Maybe if Wade got to see us more in 'action' then maybe he'll realize how he has no one in his bed at night--"

"And you do?" Flash scoffed, a hint of disgust and annoyance in his voice.

Hannah chuckled at this, believing it was some sort of joke, but then noticed the serious look on Flash's face, and her laughing came to a stop.

"Wait, what?"

Flash grunted, before walking off. "I'm leaving, gonna go get a cold beer." Hannah tilted her head in confusion. "Wait, Flash what did you mean?"

Flash didn't reply, he just kept walking. Hannah had to slightly run before she caught up with him. "Eugene are we still a thing?"

Flash shot her a warning look. "Answer me!"

And that's when he backhanded her.
