Peter and Skip grew closer every time Skip came over to babysit. Skip always had some types of games, and Peter's shy side only grew smaller. He was more energetic in school. He was more bubbly and silly around Aunt May and Uncle Ben. Everything was great.

Sometimes, Peter would have nightmares about his parents, how he thought they cried in agony as the plane fell. Sometimes he dreamed that he'd be on the plane, alone as it crashed, unable to breathe as he cried for help. Skip was always offering of hugs when Peter woke up, breathing heavily. Just a tad bit too happy. But Peter didn't mind. He actually enjoyed how caring he could be.

But that all changed one night.

(Yes I'm aware I said two weeks before, but let's pretend 1 week has already passed)

Peter shuffled into the school building and went straight to class, where Wade was waiting. Wade waved a check in his face cheekily. "I got paid boi!" Wade cheered. Peter's eyes widen and a smile found it's way onto his face and he patted Wade on the back. "That's great babe!"
"I stole a nice suit from Tony and in return, I gave him my collection of monkeys from the zoo. We can go to a fancy restaurant tonight or something!"

Peter gulped. "Tonight?" Wade nodded. "Yeah, unless you have patrol or something," Wade added thoughtfully.

Peter shook his head. "Nah, I can make it. What time?" Wade did the math in his head. "I'ma say 6:30 just to be safe." Flash snorted. "You guys are such losers. You don't even have a job."

Hannah tilted her head with a shrug. "Who knows, maybe Peter got him a fake internship too." Peter took in a deep breath, before standing up. "Babe..."
Wade, understanding exactly what Peter was trying to say, pulled out his phone and began to play a video, the audio filling the room. "No one. Fucking asked, bitch bitch bitch."

(Peter at this moment)

Flash rolled his eyes, which was shocking, instead of going out of his way to insult Peter, which was surprising. The teacher walked in and motioned for everyone to sit down.

"We're taking a quiz today," the teacher announced, passing out thick packets. "And you also have homework due tomorrow." Wade through his head back in annoyance. "Aw come on!"

Peter gently elbowed him. "Do complain or she'll give us more work," Peter hissed. Wade huffed when the quiz was sat in front of him. Peter started doing it smoothly like it was second nature to him. "If it helps, I'll do your homework for you."

Wade sighed before he began to do his quiz. "That would be, uh, greatly appreciated," Wade sent Peter a smile, and Peter sent one back. "No talking!" The teacher scolded.

The rest of the day went fine, and Peter did his own homework along with Wades. Ned was rambling on and on about Star Wars and Harry Potter, and MJ only looking up once from her book and spoke only a little bit, if you consider grumbling talking.

After lunch, Peter had history, and they was a substitute teacher today, and everyone was expecting to watch an old history movie today. Peter was by himself in the class, none of his friends were there. As Peter stood by the door, waiting for the teacher to open it, he played with one of his curls absentmindedly.

" (*)Asterisk nuzzles and kisses (*)Asterisks," Peter quoted quietly.
