Chapter 9: What Happens Under the Full Moon

"Elsa... Can you hear me?" Elsa heard as she opened her eyes a little. She didn't know where she was or how she got there but she did her her sister's voice. She heard Anna calling for her. She saw a blurred shadow walk over to her standing close. "Anna..." Elsa whispered as the blur shadow became Jack. "It's me." He says as he grabs her hand holding it close making Elsa smile a little, "Jack, what happened?" She ask  as she sat up a little feeling the pain in her leg again. She hissed as she grab it, "Careful, Kristoff wrapped it up but you need to heal yourself." Jack said making her head snap up when she heard Kristoff's name. "Wait Kristoff is here? Is Anna?" She ask making Jack shake his head, "No, she's not."

Elsa sat back a little, "But I heard her voice..." She started as she looks away from Jack to finally look around. She saw that she was in a bigger tent, almost looked like a little house. But she was looking for something, the backpack they bought with them, it had what she needed. "Jack, I need the backpack, please." She ask making Jack raise an eyebrow, "Why?" He ask as he got up and grabbed the bag handing it to her. "You'll see in a bit." She says as she pulls out a doll that looks like Anna. "Elsa... can you hear me?" She heard the doll say making her sigh, "Anna, I can hear you. Are you okay?" Elsa ask as she looked at Jack who just looked confused. Why was she talking to a doll? "We're fine. We're at the Vampire Kingdom." Elsa felt her heart break, her family was in a dangerous kingdom and she was... She didn't even know where she was!

"Elsa you need to listen to me, don't come for us. Papa doesn't want the Vampire King to get you. We'll be fine, you need to stay with Jack and stay safe. I'll try and talk to you again soon. We love you." Elsa heard her doll she didn't want to stop talking to her family but she knew she had to, to keep them safe. She sigh as she put her doll down and look at Jack who just looked confused. "Do you have a fever?" Jack ask as he placed his hand on her forehead making her giggle, "I don't think so." She answer as Jack sat on the bed next to her, "Then why were you talking to that doll?" He ask making her giggle again, "It's a voodoo doll, I made one for me and one for Anna in case something happens we can still talk to each other, only she can hear what I'm saying and only I can hear what she's saying.

"It's to make us feel safe..." Elsa whispered as she fells tears coming into her eyes. Jack put his arms around Elsa and held her tight, "Your father has them..." She whispered making Jack hold her tighter as she closed her eyes. He already knew his father had them after seeing the guards come form him. He felt Elsa's body start to sink as making him guess she was still tried. "You need to get more sleep, the full moon will be out tonight, you can heal your leg and do whatever you need to do." Jack said as he laid her back down on the bed. "What are you going to do?" She ask making him smile as he kissed her head, "I need to talk to Kristoff, don't worry, I'll explain everything to you tonight." He says as he starts to walk to the door.

"Jack." Jack heard as he turned his head to her. "Thank you." She whispered before she felt her eyes closed and she was back to sleep. Jack couldn't help but admire her, to think that just last night, she told him she loved him, he still couldn't believe that she chose him to love. He smiled at himself before he left the tent to see Kristoff talking to someone.

Kristoff's pack and small village was nothing that Jack could imaged. It wasn't as big as his father told him about when he would talk about werewolves packs but it was still a good enough size to take down an army. Everyone was working together either getting water, food or firewood. Some were in their human form while others were wolves. As he walked to Kristoff, he felt eyes on him, he could feel people nervous around him, he didn't blame them, he was nervous around them too but he wouldn't hurt them, at less, he'd try not too. Kristoff heard footsteps as he looked and smiled, "Hey, how's Elsa?" He asked as the woman next to Kristoff crossed her arms.
