I can feel myself blush as Alexander calls me beautiful, the only pet names that Brandon calls is 'Boo' or 'Sweets' but never beautiful.
I try to keep my eyes off Alexander but I was drawn to him, his presents was so strong and overwhelming it was hard to ignore, I watch as he leaves the room turning back once looking in my direction, I swear I felt like I was winded by this man.
"Hey Mac, What's the word?" Brandon says as he answers the phone, I sit patiently in the lounge as he chats to his dimwitted friend.
"Brandon I really need to get home" I say to him, he's still on the phone twenty minutes later and I knew my Mom would start freaking out.
"Do you need a lift home?" I hear Alexander say "Um... no... well yes but that's okay I can wait a bit longer for Brandon and I don't want to trouble you" I say stuttering my words like an idiot.
"No trouble at all, my pleasure actually" he says smiling, I look over to Brandon who gives us a thumbs up so I guess I had no choice.
We get into his car and it immediately fills up with his intoxicating scent, fuck he smelt good, nothing more attractive then a man that smells amazing.
"So Sienna, are you excited about Mexico?" he asks me "I guess so, well technically I don't know yet as Mom hasn't said anything so I'll have to work on my best surprised face" I say as he laughs.
"Are you?" I ask back keeping the conversation going "Hmmm I'm not sure, maybe it will be better then I expected now" he turns to me smiling, I have no idea what that's meant to be mean and I'm not going to start over analyzing it.
"So which Californian College are you applying to?" He asks me "Well...er... um... you know UCLA and um Stanford" he cuts me off "Ah so you're not going to college here then?" he says smirking at me again, fuck that smirk could make a woman weak at her knees.
"Maybe... could you keep this between us for now, even Brandon doesn't know" I plead with him "Hmm having secrets between us already? sure thing Si" he looks out the window with a huge grin on his face, fuck, is he flirting with me?
"So what does your heart desire?" he asks me "Excuse me?" I say back immediately completely taken aback by his forwardness, he lets out a huge laugh.
"I meant college, where does your heart tell you to go?" he chuckles "Oh... right, well I really like a course offered at Columbia, I feel like it's perfect for me" I grin "New York hey, I can see you there" he tells me.
"Are you happy to be home?" I ask him, he takes a minute to answer as I watch him ponder over my question "I've had to put a lot of things on hold for a long time Sienna, I won't do it anymore, I need to start living my life, I don't know if it feels like home yet but I know I'll feel it again one day" he says to me stony faced, I didn't know how a simple question got so deep, I didn't really know what he meant but maybe one day I would.
We arrive at the front of my house "Thank you so much for the lift, sorry to be inconvenience" I say looking into his big blue eyes "You never are, thank you for the chat Si, you're very easy to talk to" he says smiling
I get out of the car and watch him drive off, he looks back once shooting me a small smile, this man was such a mystery, such a good looking mystery.

I walk towards the front door looking back one last time as he drives off, I let out a small grin just thinking of our small encounter.
"Sienna, I thought you'd be back hours ago!" Mom yells as I walk in the door "Hello to you too Mom" she looks at me unimpressed "Sorry, Brandon was on the phone for ages so Alexander drove me home" I tell her "Alex??!" she blurts out "Yeah, so?" she shakes her head "No reason"
"So I wanted to tell you about our summer plans, we're going to be renting a Mexican villa with the Rose family, how exciting will that be!" she says being way too enthusiastic "That sounds awesome Mom" Give me an Oscar now for that performance.
"I know! I wanted to ask how many bedrooms shall we get, do you want to share with Brandon?" she asks "No, she's not sharing" I see Dad walk into the room "Honey, Sienna and Brandon are eighteen now, they're adults" I see Dad about to lose his shit "Actually I'd really prefer separate bedrooms please" I cut in, Dad looks over at me smiling as I smile back at him and nod.
Alexander's POV
There is just something about Sienna, I felt so comfortable around her like this instant connection, I guess she's just like her Dad who has been my closest friend all my life, She's just..... really special.
I get home and go to find my son to see what he's up to "Brandon? Are you finally off your phone?" I call out "Yes Dad, I'm right here" I shake my head "Son, that was really rude to leave your girlfriend waiting around for you while you casually chat on the phone, you knew she needed to get home, what are you doing?" I say to him slightly annoyed.
"What do you mean 'what am i doing'?" he asks "You've got an amazing beautiful girlfriend and you don't seem to realize it" I say crossing my arms.
"Dad, I know you're trying to help but Sienna.... she's a lot of work yeah? Yes she's beautiful and smart and funny but she's demanding as all fuck" he says getting all agitated and shitty.
"How is she demanding?" I ask "Dad, I don't want talk about this with you" he says "Why? we're both adults, I might be able to help".

"She wants to be treated special all the time and even when I do that she still doesn't ...you know... give me a reward" he says slightly embarrassed, I can't believe the words I'm hearing.
"So you're pissed that she won't 'give it up' is that what you're saying to me?" I ask and he nods.
"Son, generally any great 'reward' is worth fighting for, so is Sienna worth putting in the hard work and fighting for?" I ask him.
"Dad, you remember what it's like being eighteen, I'm young and I want to have fun, I don't want to do all this work" he tells me.
"Okay then... so why are you still with her?" I ask him point blank "It's complicated Dad" he replies.
I pour myself a drink and sit on the lounge chair "Then enlighten me Brandon".
