I take a deep breath in trying to stay calm, fuck what was worse then sleeping with someone else? "Before I tell you I need you to let me explain the whole story, I need to say everything" he says to me pensively, I nod just so we can get this out of the way.
"As you know I haven't always been the best student, I was such an immature fuck boy, it's weird it's like now that I'm out of that environment I can actually see clearly, anyway, I did a lot of stupid shit during the school year, most of the time I got away with it but this one time, well I didn't" he sighs.
"I was smoking pot in the toilets at school with a few friends, the gym teacher caught us or more to the point me, I was the one with the joint in my hand and the weed in my pocket, the other two guys denied smoking and claimed to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, such a couple of fucking rats anyway I got sent to the headmaster's office" it's at this point I can see him struggle, I already had a horrible feeling about this.
"So once in the office I told her what happened, she told me that in these cases immediate expulsion is usually the case, I was so damn scared, what was I meant to tell my Mum, I couldn't tell her six months before graduation I was expelled, so I pleaded with her saying "Please, I'll do anything, I can't be expelled, it was just a stupid mistake"" I see him choke back his words.
"She told me that we could come to "an arrangement", fuck I had no idea what she wanted but I would hear her out at least" he takes another deep breath.
"She told me that I was such a popular student and that I had such influence on others that she'd like to see that being used in a certain manner" I close my eyes as I knew what was coming and I was about to scream.
"She asked me to take her daughter to prom and date her until the end of the year, so she could become as popular as I was, she also said that "we were a good couple that should be together", in her words" I see him close his eyes and clear the lump in my throat.
"So you were blackmailed into dating me? you never actually had feelings for me?" I say to him somewhat calmly while crossing my arms but the anger was starting to boil up.
"I didn't at the start no, I mean you were good friend and you were hot but I didn't want a girlfriend, however once school finished and we hung out more I started to really like you, I opened my eyes for the first time in a long time".
