Return of the Ghost

Sienna's POV

It was the start of summer break, I had just graduated high school so for me summer break should be about being able to sleep in as much as I like without being disturbed or at least that was my goal "Sienna! Get your ass out of bed! Brandon will be here soon!" I hear Mom yell out from downstairs.

Brandon was my boyfriend which made both our Mothers very happy seeing as they're best friends, both our families are pretty close, I have to admit Brandon was very cute and at school he was really popular with everyone but fuck he is so immature.

My Mother was Headmaster of our high school, it definitely had good and bad points, mostly bad to be honest, everyone thought I had special treatment but that wasn't the case, if anything Mom took a harder line on me with everything, I always had to prove myself.

Brandon and I went to Prom together and that was the night he asked me to be his girlfriend, I guess I got caught up in the excitement of Prom and said yes, truth be told I think he was hoping for something from me at the end of the night than just becoming his girlfriend if you know what I mean. 

I haven't slept with Brandon or anyone for that matter but he does like to try it on with me all the time, he was clearly not a virgin which is fine but he doesn't actually make any effort to make it special for me so why would I just want to give it up to him.

I get dressed and head downstairs to see Mom "Honey, do you want breakfast?" she asks as she cleans up the kitchen "No thanks, not that hungry, I'll just take an apple"

"Okay no problem, don't come home too late from the mall, I need to speak to you about something tonight" Mum says to me with a smirk "And you can't tell me now because why?"

"Because Brandon is here and you can't keep him waiting" she smiles as I lean over to peek out the window to see Brandon's car out front. 

I head out the front to meet Brandon and get into his car "Hey Boo" he says, that's what he calls me for some reason, I lean in to give him a small peck on the lips.

"Hey just to let you know we're meeting some our friends at the Mall" he states gently touching the side of my face in a small act of affection "Our friends or your friends?" I ask him giving him a half smile "Well give them a chance and they can be your friends too" he says smiling

"By the way Boo, love these fucking cut off shorts, fucking sexy as hell" he grabs my thigh and squeezes his fingers moving closer and closer between my legs.

"Brandon! stop! you need to keep your eyes on the road" I say to him trying to keep myself composed "I'm keeping my eyes on the road, it's my hands that want to play" I can tell he wants to fool around but seriously not the time or place.

"Come on babe, stop being such a princess and let's have some fun" once he says that I immediately remove his hand and place it back on his own lap, ugh and he fucking wonders why he isn't getting laid.

I can see out of the corner of my eye that he was pissed off but fuck I didn't care, make some real effort and treat me with respect then we might get somewhere.

I honestly don't even know why we're together, oh that's right because it was our mother's dream to have us together but honestly I think deep down we knew we weren't right for each other, I planned on keeping up this charade until I left for college, we live in California but I'm hoping to get into Columbia which is in NYC, I think Brandon will end up staying in Cali and long distance won't work, I haven't told anyone yet that I applied at Columbia.

"So have your parents told you yet about the trip?" he grunts at me clearly still pissed off "No, I haven't heard anything, Mom did say she wanted to talk to me about something tonight" I say to him nonchalant.

"Well as we'll be going off to college after summer they want our families to spend the summer break down in Mexico renting a villa down there or some shit" he tells me with minimum enthusiasm.

"Even my Dad will be there" He tells me shrugging "Really?" I ask slightly shocked, Brandon's Dad, Alexander, was in the US Air Force so he was missing for a lot of Brandon's childhood especially the last four years, both our Dads are Pilots but mine does commercial work so he was home more frequently.

"Yep, he has taken long service leave, doesn't even know if he'll go back, he might stay here and train up pilots or some shit" I'm shocked to hear this, it's really sad that Brandon missed out on having a good relationship with his Dad but his Mom is so wonderful that she kind of made up for it.

"You and your Mom must be so happy that he's home" I say to him, he laughs "Something like that"

We arrive at the mall and meet up with his friends, I've tried in the past to get on with them but I just find it hard to relate to them, they're normally talking about 'how wasted they got the night before' or 'what chicks they recently banged' I mean they were just topics I didn't know much about nor did I want to.

After a while we decide to head back home "Do you mind if we stop in at my place first? My phone battery is about to die and need to grab my charger?" he asks "Sure" I reply.

We park the car and walk into his house "Brandon? Is that you?" I hear a deep husky male voice yell out, I haven't seen Brandon's Dad in so long I can't even remember when, it's sad because before that he use to be around a lot more but those past 4 years or so he's been a ghost.

"Yeah Dad, Sienna is here too" He yells out, we wait in the lounge when I hear the heavy footsteps heading our way from the lower level.

Alexander appears in the room.....holy fuck, I think I just had a stroke. I don't remember him ever looking this way, he was so thin in the Air Force but now he has bulked up, his hair is longer too, he always had that shaved look before.

"Sienna?" his manly voice says to me, wow this man is drop dead attractive, all I could do was nod, words escape me at the moment.

He laughs at my temporary mutism "Wow Sienna, you're such a beautiful young woman, I hardly recognize you" he looks straight at me with those piercing blue eyes, I notice him looking me up and down, fuck, he was absolutely breathtaking.
