After breakfast we all headed to the beach, I took my book 'The French Tutor' with me and I was determined to not let my trip be ruined by Brandon and Alexander or anyone else for that matter
I place my towel down and try to relax and zone out, It wasn't long before Brandon was calling out to me "Sienna, come into the water, it's beautiful" I hear him yell out, I look up to see him and Alexander about to go for swim, no way was I going to be the meat in that sandwich

"No thank you, I'm just going to stay here and read but enjoy" I say smiling to him, I watch as he shrugs and turns his back as he moves into the water, Alexander continues to look in my direction smiling, seeing as he was topless it was very hard for me to stop looking at him too
He eventually turns away and moves into the water, I watch as he chats away to Brandon as they swim around keeping their heads above water, my guilt starts to creep in watching them together
"Can I sit down next to you Sweetheart?" I look up to see Kate standing next to me "Of course" I reply as I move my bag to make room for her on the towel, she sits down but doesn't say anything, I don't know if I should start the conversation or just wait for her
"I see how you look at him Sienna" she says, she's not looking at me just looking straight forward to the ocean towards the guys, I wasn't going to give anything away though
"I always look at Brandon that way" I say to her waiting to see what her next move is "You and I both know I'm not talking about Brandon" she sarcastically chuckles
I remain silent, I don't know what is going on but I'm not going to start fucking discussing this with the mother and wife
"Sienna, I get it, really i do, anyone with eyes can see he's a very attractive man and he's a nice guy but there is no future there, no one would ever approve of your relationship and both of you would lose all your friends and family plus Brandon would never forgive either of you, would you really want to be the reason that a son never speaks to his father again?" she tells me stony faced, no emotion in her voice like she's just rolling out facts
Fuck though that was a low blow, is she really going to start laying on the guilt, I don't know what her angle is yet
"Why are you telling me this Kate?" I ask her "Because I want my son to be happy and he has developed feelings for you, I know you're a good influence on him and you two can have a bright future together, college, travel, marriage, kids, whatever you want and you wouldn't have to hurt or lose everyone in your lives to do it" I see her get up from the towel on the ground
"Also I like you as well, I've watched you grow up and I want the best for you, I know Alexander better then anyone, as I said yes he's a nice guy but he will be demanding and possessive of you and you don't want that, trust me, I was around your age when I married him and I learned the hard way" she tells me
