Chapter 11

It had been a month since you started hanging out with Dark. He was very kind and nice, for being a demon that is. Today you were in heaven. The children were running all around you as they played tag with you. You were laughing and enjoyed the time with them. You then saw God walking up towards you. The children ran to him and hugged his legs. He smiled at them, placing a hand on a few of their heads.

"Hello children. I'm sorry but I must speak with (y/n). (y/n), can you please walk with me?" He asks. You nodded and tell the children good bye and walk with God. God was quiet, waving at the angels every now and again, but never said a word to you. You began to worry.

"God?" You ask. He sighed.

"(y/n), have you been talking with that demon?" God asked. You stopped walking. He to stopped and turned to face you.

"You have, haven't you?" He asked again. You slowly nodded. He sighs.

"(y/n), he is a demon. His soul is tainted and can not be reformed." God said. You looked at him.

"I know, I just enjoy talking to him." You said. God frowned.

"You enjoy talking to a demon?" He asked. You flinched a bit. He didn't say it in a mean way nor did he raise his voice but, it was the way it sounded.

"Yes." You whispered. God took a step forward.

"You know he has killed thousands of humans. Many of them are here in heaven." God said. He sounded angry, but his voice was calm. You nodded.

"Yes." You said and looked at the ground. God used his hand to lift your chin.

"Don't be sad. Everyone makes mistakes." He said and backed away. You looked at him in the eyes.

"How did you know?" You asked him. He smiled.

"Another angel saw you yesterday talking with him." He said but his smiled faded.

"Promise me you won't see that demon again." He said. You nodded. He smiled and left. You looked at him as he left, feeling guilty.

You had just lied to God.
