Chapter 13

You land on the clouds and see God is waiting for you. You smile and walk up to him but see he doesn't look happy. Your smile fades.

"God?" You ask nervously. He turns from you.

"Walk with me (y/n)." He says. You nod and start to walk. He once again didn't say anything to you as he waved at other angels. You broke the silence.

"God?" You asked. He puts up one finger, signaling that you had to wait. You nodded and continued to walk with him. After a while, God stopped, as did you.

"Look." He said, and you followed his gaze. You saw an older angel, he had no hair and was talking with a lot of angels. He looked familiar.

"John, please come over here." God called out. You saw the angel look at god, then nod and walked over. Once he did, you became scared.

"John, this is (y/n). (y/n), this is John." God said. You both said hello, but you looked up at God in confusion, but he didn't look at you. He just looked at John

"John, please tell (y/n) what happened to you." God said. John nodded and looked at you. You looked at him.

"I'm John. I am, well was, a priest. I was walking home one night when I was attacked. The man was dark, almost like he had gray skin with a darker gray suit. I will never forgot him. He killed me, slicing my throat and then stabbing me." He said. You covered your mouth.

It was the guy that Dark had killed. That's why he looked so familiar. God thanked the man and he left, going back to talk to the other angels. God stepped forward and faced you. You looked at him.

"You lied to me (y/n)." He said. You shook your head. He sighed.

"I know you have been seeing that demon. Tell me why." He said. You gulped, afraid he wouldn't believe you.

"He's my friend." You whispered. God took a deep breath.

"(y/n), if you continue to see that demon. I will strip you of your wings, casting you to earth as a fallen angel." He said. Your eyes widened. That was the worst punishment any angel could get.

"Do I make my self clear?" He asked. You nodded, tears falling. 

"You will also no tell the demon why." He said. You looked at him. 

"Why? Why cant I tell him why?" You asked. God sighed. 

"He would tell you to forget it, that he will be there for you. (y/n), that's how demons work. He will kill you if you become a fallen angel. you become mortal and he will take your soul for himself." God said. You looked down, crying harder. God sighed, placing a head on your shoulder and walked away. You continued to cry.
