𝐓he daylight greets Clove with wide arms, her features grimacing at the unexpected brightness.

Groggily, she glances away from the sharp sun, finding Bellamy and Charlotte fast asleep on the ground. Unlike herself, who's been resting sideways against the uncomfortable cave wall all night. Fairly surprised that she'd been able to fall asleep under the current circumstances.

The jacket he had lent her is still draped around her body, shielding her from the cold that might burst through her sweater. She hugs it tightly and takes in the comfort of the clothing, silently wondering why her jacket doesn't feel as inviting as this one.

A soft yawn escapes as she stands up, still extremely careful with the wound on her back. What shocks her the most is that the burning is nowhere near as painful as the day before.

Confused, she hesitantly moves a finger towards the injury, gently tapping it to find out if it's there or not. The touch earns a slight wince as white pain shoots up her spine and around her abdomen, clarifying that the injury is indeed still there.

But the pain is not that remarkable as long as she doesn't brush against the area, which is tolerant. It might not be infected.

"Hey, wake up," she calls, returning her eyes to the outside world, thrilled as she finds the fog all gone. Like it never arrived in the first place.

"Fog's clear?" Casting him a silent nod, she watches as he sits up and studies the entrance. "Better get going then."

Her focus drains down to the clothing covering her upper body, quickly shifting to remove it. "Thanks for the jacket," a small smile touches her lips as she hands it to him, instantly feeling a tiny bit chillier.

Nodding once, he takes the jacket and slips it on smoothly, "how's your back?"

She offers him another smile, "it's better. Doesn't hurt nearly as much as yesterday."

"Good."

It doesn't take long before the three of them make their way out of the cave.

"Anybody out there?" Bellamy yells out in hopes of finding the other hunting companions. "Jones?"

A voice is heard from further into the woods, "we're here!"

They all immediately follow the sound, and it doesn't take long before she notices a group of people walking toward them. Bellamy is the first to speak up, "lost you in the stew. Where'd you go?"
