Their mother joined them and hugged them tightly... she's in tears.
Gabe broke their hug because it was getting a little awkward.
Gab: Uh-By the way mom... We prepared dinner...
Ryan: WOAH YOU COOKED ALL THAT KUYA?! WOOWW! YOU'RE SO AMAZING KUYA GABBY!!!
Ryan ran towards the table with so much energy.
Mom: Awwe~ how sweet of you anak...
Gab: It's nothing ma, matagal na din kasi tayong hindi nakakapag dinner together...
Their mother sighed.
Mom: I know... as much as I want to be here... I'm too busy handling everything your dad has left us... Hopefully pag graduate mo matulungan mo ako sa company...
Gab: Of course ma... Yun naman talaga isa sa mga goals ko after graduating...
Mom: Thank you anak...
Gab: Anything for you, ma... and for the family...
Mom: I'm really proud of you anak...
They all followed Ryan to the dining table...
Gab: Ah, yes... Ma... remember Dani? ... she'll be joining us tonight...
Dani: Good evening po Tita... welcome back~
Mom: Oh hi! Hija! Yes, I remember her~ you always talk about her!
Gab: Ssssshhhhh!!!
Their mother went to Dani and kissed her cheeks. She gave her an approving smile.
Mom: O Delia... mamaya na yang mga gamit... sabayan niyo na kami kumain dito... marami 'tong hinanda niyo... eh konti lang naman kami....
"Naku Maam... susunod nalang kami... kayo na mauna ng mga anak niyo... marami pa kayong pag uusapan..."
Mom: O sige, pero siguraduhin mong makakakain kayo ng maayos ha?
"Opo Maam"
Gabe intervened their conversation politely...
Gab: Uh excuse me, Ma? I'll go up muna I'll ca-
But before he could finish... Ryan butted-in.
Ryan: MOMMY?! CAN I PLAY SOME MUSIC? It's boring!!!
Mom: Okay dear...
Gab didn't wait for his mom's approval and quickly went up to Mark's room.
Gab: Shit.
That was all he could say.
It was empty... and the windows are wide open...
Gab still scanned the room... and there he saw Mark's smashed phone.
It was irreparable.
Gab: *deep sigh*
He picked the phone up and hid the phone inside his room.
He locked up Mark's room and went down.
Ryan: Kuya Gabby! Where did you go?
Gab: I just went up to check my phone...
