(Dean's POV)

"Honey, you are a mess . . . and you smell like a woman? ” She muttered and I freaked out.

"I- I went clubbing with my friends. And I-It was crowded. I must have caught someone’s smell. ” I stammered at first, but finished the last three words at a blood cuddling speed.
Her lips curved into a smile and I almost confessed everything. That was weirdest, most scary thing I had ever seen.

Why was she  calm? She should have been yelling at me because even I didn't buy that excuse though it was my own idea. The idea was the lamest I had ever come up with.

What excuse did I have for not talking to her for two days?I didn't even have my phone. where the hell did I put that thing.

"Let's wash up." She whispered softly, as she went back to her previous work, carefully sorting out laundry. I staggered into the bathroom to find a neatly folded towel.

I loved that woman . I loved my wife and it scared me to lose her one day because of Zhela. I took the longest shower of my entire life trying to magically fix everything with my wishes.

"Sharon
I didn't know what went on in that party, but it got Dean acting weird. First when he saw me, instead of being happy, he was perplexed. Then he insisted that we go back to the city the same evening.

I thought of asking if something was bothering him, but I got something, an interview to prepare for so Dean's issue slipped my mind.

Tess had recommended me for a sales and marketing job at their company and two months later, I got a call for an interview.

I had gotten up and prepared breakfast, it was my dat my. While at it, I realized we were out of almost everything, so I made up my mind that after the interview, I would go grocery shopping. Dean wanted to come along but I declined. I suggested he rest well enough so that he would make dinner early.

I picked up my handbag and gave him a kiss.

"success, baby." Dean wished me.

"Thank you." I smiled as I got into my car.

The interview went well. They promised to get back to me within 24 hrs. So I went to the store.

I was in the cereal isle, when I realized that some had been tailing me. I got scared and started running. I wasn't looking so I bumped into a wall.

"Ow! "

" Are you okay? "

Someone gave me a hand and I took it without thinking. He hoisted me from the cold floor then pulled out his hat.

I froze, " Hello, love. "I started shaking scared. I was right to be paranoid. Kelvin had been following me the whole time.

He was still holding onto my hand that I tried to snatch from his grasp." Let go "I ordered." What are you doing doing here? My husband will kill you and then he will kill me if he sees you. Let go!"

I had turned into a blubber mouth. Where did he even come from?
" What am I doing here? Honey, this is a public place. I have as much right as the next guy. As for your husband murdering us, I won't let him. Jail toughens people. " He whispered the last part then winked.

I was still star-struck, " I have missed you. "he added, coming closer constantly, I instinctively took a step back. Kelvin scared the crap out of me.

I had managed to get my hands free so I started zooming away. I had left my half-full cart in his hand and ran out. Thank God, he did follow me. But that didn't take away the bad feeling building in the pit of my stomach.
