Chapter Six: Time Is Of The Essence!

Cece's POV

I woke up at 6 am this morning luckily my school had a half day so I didn't have to go. I took a shower and brushed my teeth. I wore a simple black tights, a black and T-shirt, put my hair into a ponytail.

I went down stairs to make breakfast. I made pancakes, eggs and toast made to perfection!

I went to the kitchen to make a plan for how we are going to clean up the house. Hm.... Okay so James has the garden with Ganeet~. Sam the front of the house. Damien the stair case.Erik the Dinning room with Abby~. Matthew with the cooking. Hm.. who should I help? "Hm... oh I know!" Ganeet said while scaring me out of the chair. "Really?"

"Sorry" she said innocently.

"Annnnnnnnnnd there!" She said walking out of the room.

I got up and saw the list.... oh no.. if I erase it he will see it and if I don't he will think that I may have feelings- "Okay Cece Relax" Said Abby as she came into the room clearly seeing my distress.

I breathed in and out finally calming down. "Now I think you two should be Panicking.." I said nervously. "I'm not." Abby said looking at the paper. "But I know Ganeet will. Look" She looked and made look pale. "I'm six feet under.." she said barely above a whisper.

"You are what Miss?" James said walking to the room as well to clean his dish. "I'm going to six feet under because... of how much Cece is going murder me!" Ganeet while trying so hard to look anywhere else than his eyes.

"I am?" I said looking confused. She looked into her eyes and it was filled with desperation.
"I am! Because of you I have to perform! On Wednesday! This Wednesday!" I say quickly came up with it on the spot. Though it wasn't a lie in fact it was the truth this high school was doing an arts night and the principal came up to me and asked if I wanted to perform. I said I wasn't sure but now I have an excuse to go sadly.

"Yes that's right you did make her go to the principal and say that she wanted to do it" Abby said joining the lie as well. "Well Miss I think there is time to practice but for now we need to quickly eat up and start planning the housewarming party for your parents and for the guests that might come" James while the others nodded in agreement.

"And I think you've got it covered with you know your secret talent and all" Matthew suddenly blurt it out. Which made the boys wonder What secret talent? " it can't be a secret anymore if you keep telling people Matthew. Seriously I'm not doing that for the arts night. I'm not!...... fine I will do it but you owe me Ganeet big time!" I say admitting defeat.

Everyone quickly ate their breakfast and went to their spots as agreed on the plan. Everyone split their ways and I had a little time to myself before I went to Matthew and helped him with the cooking. I quickly came up with a list of notes on what I should do for the arts night but nothing appeared out of the ordinary so I went to Matthew and helped him with the cooking.

He unconsciously asked if he could take it off and I nodded and said it was OK with it he gingerly brushed his finger against my cheek. The feeling was heavenly that I closed my eyes and enjoyed the sensation.

Each stroke made mind mind go numb and begging for more. However the feeling suddenly stopped and I opened my eyes to look at him. He had a faint blush across his cheek.

" Ahem.... I g-got it all?" He said still flustered. Heck I was to! " T-Thanks." I said stuttering! The rest of the time went smoothly.

It was time to get ready for the party. My friends wore simple yet cute dresses. I however had to impress my dad so I wore a long sleeveless dress with no straps and it was cut on the side. The colour was royal blue 😉.

While I went down I noticed the girls were being complimented on the dress by their.. crushes! When I went everyone in the room looked at me staring at my outfit.

" Wow you look amazing." Matthew said with the most brightest smile. I smiled " Thank you. I see you look dashing." Smirking a bit at his flustered reaction.

~Time Skip~

The night went Smoothly with the guests happy and entertained-and they didn't see my markings looks like powerful beings can see it. We all were exhausted from the continuous social interaction. We began to clean up.

Then I felt my arm start to glow. "Huh?- I freeze. I can't move my body . I started to walk to the door. "Uh Miss? Where are you going?" James said confused. However I couldn't even say a thing. I continued walking. Ganeet knew something wasn't right. "Cece! What's wrong!" She said clearly concerned. I stopped, turned and said "Amicus illius es?" Since when can I speak Latin?! I couldn't move my own body! What am I going to do...?
