Cece's POV
_______________________________I slowly opened my eyelids; not wanting to get up yet. Not until I remember what had happened. I looked in the mirror searching for the marks on the body. Just as I thought I was clear, I saw it. This time, I analyzed the details.
Hmm, a sword with angel wings?? And my eye..... it has a cross??? Huh. Just when life couldn't surprise me even more.....
I stayed in bed a little longer until I looked at the time.
Hmm... Does Grandpa still have the studio? Maybe that will take my mind off things.
While I was looking for the studio, I heard grunting sounds from the yard. I looked quietly; making sure that I didn't make a sound.
They're.... training when it's fucking 7am!?! Ganeet and Abby are involved too??
I sighed and continued looking for the studio; wanting to leave them alone.
Finally, I found it! Hmm, let's go with....
"High Hopes" By Panic! At The Disco.
I put my headphones on; wanting to block the noise outside and closed my eyes.
Then, I sang.
(Start the song here)
Had to have high, high hopes for a living.
Shooting for the stars when I couldn't make a killing.
Didn't have a dime but, I always had a vision.
Always had high, high hopes.
Had to have high, high hopes for a living.
Didn't know how but, I always had a feeling
I was gonna be that one in a million
Always had high, high hopes.Mama said, fulfill the prophecy.
Be something greater, go make a legacy.
Manifest destiny, back in the days.
We wanted everything, wanted everything.Mama said, burn your biographies.
Rewrite your history, light up your wildest dreams.
Museum victories, everyday.
We wanted everything, wanted everythingMama said don't give up, it's a little complicated.
All tied up, no more love and I'd hate to see you waiting.Had to have high, high hopes for a living.
Shooting for the stars when I couldn't make a killing.
Didn't have a dime but, I always had a vision.
Always had high, high hopes.
