Uma's POV

It was around midnight. I was walking to the museum. It was very dark and quiet everywhere, the only light came from the streetlights and the moon, which was shining bright in the nightskye.

I walked to the entrance of the museum and looked through the window. I saw a fat guard sitting in a black chair, watching the security footage, while eating a big burger. When I gave the security footage a better look, I noticed that the cameras were only focused on the objects, and not on the corridors.

I walked around the building and saw a window I could easily climb through. I took a hairpin, I had done this so many times on the Isle. Maybe it was a little cliché, but it always worked. I began picking the lock with the pin, until it opened. I grinned and climbed really quietly through the window.

I was standing in a large room with a lot of magic object, out of all different fairy tales. I began walking through the building. It was a lot larger than I had expected. I tiptoed from one to the other rooms, until I finally found what I was looking for.

Y'all probably think I am here for the wand of Fairy Godmother. Well, in the end, of course I want it. But it's almost impossible to get it all on my own, without magic. This night, I'm here for the spellbook of Maleficent. And there it was. Right before me.

I had searched it all out. I was going to the fuse box, put off the electricity, grab the spellbook, replace it for a replica and be off.

I searched for the fuse box. When I found it, I reached in my bag for a scissor, and cut the wire. Immediately the power went out. I ran really quietly back to the spellbook, picked up the glass box, which was placed over it, and grabbed the spellbook. I put the replica down where the real one just laid, put back the glass box and ran back to the window.

I heard footsteps coming, so I quickly closed the window behind me and ran off into the dark night.

Step one of our plan was done. We had to do a lot before we could finish off our plan. I had to get the limo, that could take me back to the Isle. There I would pick up my crew and then we were gonna prepare for a war. The war we would win. It will take a few months, maybe a year. But in the end it'll be all worth it.

Mal's POV

Evie and I were busy studying for a test, we had the next day. Math never was easy, it always drove me crazy. I thought it had to be logical, but mostly it didn't make any sense to me. Evie, however, never had any difficulty with it. She always helped me with it though, but it just didn't really help. I always ended up with a bad grade anyway.

'Maybe we should take a break?' Evie offered after a few hours of studying.

'You're right,' I answered with a big sigh. I jumped onto my bed and turned on the tv.

"Last night, around midnight, the power went out in the museum of Auradon. It seemed that a wire in the fuse box of the museum was cut. The guard of the museum has no clue of how it happened. The whole museum has been checked, to look if all object were still there. Luckily, nothing was gone. The investigation of how this could've happened is still ongoing," a reporter of the news told.

I raised an eyebrow. Strange, I thought, but didn't pay any other attention to it.

"In other news: The young royal couple has been spotted in New Orleans {showing footages of the other night}. After a dinner in Tiana's Palace, they shared some romantic moments together at the beach. It looks like it's going really well between the two." The reporter started the story.

'Ahh, M. You two are so cute together,' Evie said swooning.

'Hmmm, it would be better if they didn't constantly follow us. They show up at literally every place we are,' I sighed.

"The beach is a really unknown beach, because it's difficult to access,' the reporter continued,' But for the royal family has come here for decenia. Most members of the royal family have proposed at that beach to their loves. So maybe, in the near or further future, we're gonna have a royal wedding. But there are no further clues to that, so we probably just have to wait," the reporter ended.

I turned off the TV and looked at Evie.

'You don't think they know it, do you?' I asked a bit worried.

'Of course not. For them these are just rumors, nothing to worry about,' she assured me.

Not that it really mattered if they knew it anyway. We were gonna announce it soon enough and then everyone would know.

I was wondering how it would look like. Me, being the queen. It's just weird that in a few months I was married to the king of Auradon. Then I suddenly was queen. The queen of Auradon. I was gonna be ten times more busy then I already was, but it was worth it. I would be with Ben forever. I smiled at that thought.

'M, we should go continue math. We still have a lot to do,' Evie said, walking towards the table.

I stook up and sat next to Evie. Here we go. Again. Sigh.

Mal's POV

Ben had told his parents about our engagement and luckily they were okay with it. I tried to tell my mom too, but I actually don't know if she understands what I'm saying.

We told our friends also of course and they were just as surprised as the others we told. Even Dude was looking at us with a frozen snout. But they were of course happy for us.

Now we only had to tell the rest of Auradon, and I hoped they would be just as happy for us as our friends were...
