Mal's POV
Weeks went by. We did what we had to do, like school, homework, tests and duties, but also had some fun of course, we hung out, went shopping, laughed. And between all that, we had to plan our wedding.
It was early january and our wedding was in 3 days. I got more nervous by each hour that passed. Today were the last dress and suit fittings and tomorrow we did the last check if everything was ready for the wedding.
Evie and Dizzy were busy for weeks with all the outfits, while Jay and Carlos were telling Ben over and over again about how he had to threat me. And I, well, I was mostly walking outside in the garden or through the park in the perfect white snow, trying to get rid of all stress and thoughts that were going through my head.

Mal's POV
The last 2 days of preparations went by fast. Tonight was bachelorette party and I really hoped that it would be some distraction for tomorrow.
We were at the place where tomorrow Ben and I would get married. It was a beautiful place with a view of the with snow covered mountains.
People were busy decorating the place and making sure that everything was perfect. I walked from here to there to help people, answering a bunch of questions. But then it became a little too much, my head was full and everyone was talking to me at the same time.
'Excuse me,' I said and quickly ran away, before anyone could stop me.
I had to get away from that place. For some reason, I ran all the way to enchanted lake. I sat down on the stone platform and let my feet rest in the chilly water. I closed my eyes and just sat there doing nothing for a few minutes.
'Mal!' I heard suddenly.
'Ben! Don't scare me like that,' I said startled.
'What are you doing here? Why did you leave?' He asked as he stood behind me.
I didn't say anything, but just stared to the clear blue water.
Ben came closer and sat beside me.
'Are you okay?' He asked.
I turned my head to face him. I wanted to say something, but didn't know what. A tear fell down my cheek. Ben pulled me closer to him and hugged me tightly. I let out all tears that had been bottling up inside me. We just sat there for a while without saying a word, letting all emotions come out that had been inside me for the past few weeks.

It was the morning of the wedding day. The bachelorette party was amazing, it really helped me to get rid of all my worries. But now, a few hours before the wedding, it came all back. It was 6 in the morning, but I couldn't sleep anymore. I saw Evie still asleep, so I quietly got dressed and walked out the dorm.
I went to the school garden to go for a walk. It was snowing outside, but I didn't really care. I felt the cold snow touching my skin.
I saw someone else walking through the garden, but couldn't see who as it was still dark outside and the only faint light came from the lampposts.
I walked to one of the corners of the garden and saw someone sitting on a bench. When I came closer I saw in my surprise that it was Ben. He probably couldn't sleep either. I sat next to him.
'Hi,' I said. He looked up to me.
'Oh hey, you're up early,' he said.
'Couldn't sleep anymore,' I said. 'So, how was your party with the boys yesterday?' I asked.
We told each other everything about the parties yesterday and for a few minutes I had forgotten all my worries once again, but that wouldn't be for long.
'Are you ready for the wedding?' He asked me.
'I hope so. I'm a little nervous though,' I told him.
'Yeah me too, but it's gonna be a great day. It's just weird to think that in a few hours we are married, isn't it?' He said.
'Yeah, but I'm happy I'm with you. Imagine you being married to Audrey,' I chuckled by the thought of that.
'She's still shocked about the wedding, didn't you see her look at us. She always had in her head to one day being the queen of Auradon. And I am so happy that that didn't happen,' he chuckled too.
The snow now began really to fall, what made me shiver. Ben pulled me closer to him and I rested my head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arms around me.
I hugged him.'Promise me you won't ever leave me, okay?'
'I promise,' he said and gladly kissed me.

Evie's POV
I woke up and looked at the clock. I jumped out of my bed. Today was Mal's big day. I looked at her bed and then noticed she wasn't there. It was only 7 am, how could she be up already? I got dressed and went looking for Mal. She was probably in the garden, she spends a lot of time there. Sitting on a bench and drawing the most beautiful things.
After on step outside I was already freezing to death, but I had to find Mal so I walked further. I couldn't really see much, since it was still dark outside. I walked to the corner of the garden and saw there Mal and Ben kissing on one of the benches.
'Good morning, lovebirds,' I said.
They turned around with startled faces.
'Gee, Evie, don't scare us like that!' Mal said.
'Why are you up this early? You've only slept a few hours and it's your wedding day!' I said.
'I just couldn't sleep anymore,' she said.
'Well let's grab some breakfast then. We have a lot to do!' I said and dragged her to the cafeteria, leaving Ben behind.
