Violets POV

Clem has been doing better after the whole coincidence with Minerva, her eye has started to heal but was still a little black and puffy. Minnie's black eye was gone in a matter of days. I can't believe I punched her, I punched my ex girlfriend. She deserved it though, she shouldn't have elbowed and pushed clem like that. Clem was only trying to help Sophie out. Sophie's doing okay too. She's been out for a couple of days but we still don't know if she's had any damage to the head. My thoughts get cut off by clem drooling on my chest. She's adorable and messy at the same time, damn. "Aw come on clem" I whispered under my breath. I gently try to raise her off of my chest but that doesn't work. She just squeezes her arms around me tighter and puts her head into my chest. I smile down at her and kiss her forehead. She smiles in her sleep. We can't stay like this all day, even though I would love to spend the whole day laying in bed with the love of my life. I nudge clem a little bit. "Clem, babe we have to get up" She doesn't budge. I try to scoot away from her but she just pulls me back in. "Clem pleaseee, I would love to stay and cuddle with you all day but we have to go check on everyone" she opens one eye and sighs. I look down at her and smile. She smiles back. "I love you" my heart starts beating when she says that. "I love you too" I lean down and kiss her lips softly. She moans into the kiss and leans up slowly while our passionate kiss is still going on. She sneakily slips her tongue in and I moan into the kiss now until I remember the important stuff. I pull back and look into her eyes with a smirk on my lips. "Clem, we don't have time for this, maybe later" I say and put my hand on her thigh. She jumps when she feels my hand and I let go. She pouts and leans back into bed. "Fine" She says. I smile at her and get up. I put on my long sleeve shirt and legendary vest. I put my boots on and tie the laces tight. I look up and see clem sitting on the bed staring blankly at the floor. I frown and reach my hand over to hers. I squeeze it gently and she looks up at me. "Are you okay?" She smiles and nods. "Yeah, I'm just thinking" she says and looks down at the floor again. I lean up so I'm sitting next to her and intertwine our fingers. "What about?" I ask. "What if Lilly does come back?  Everything has been so stressful the past few weeks, I have a black eye, we have no clue what to do with Minnie, if they do come back there probably gonna want the twins back, Sophie is hurt real badly, I don't know everything is just sucks" I look up at her. "Hey don't say that, everything doesn't suck, you have AJ and me and the rest of the kids, we're here for you clem, no matter what" I say and look into her eyes. She smiles and rests her head on my shoulder. "I know, and I'm very thankful for you guys, especially you and AJ. You guys are my priority, the ones that make me smile and make me keep moving, I love both of you dearly and I honestly don't know where I'd be if you guys weren't here" I smile at what she says. "We love you even more than you'd expect clem, you guys help me out so much, I haven't told you this yet and I regret waiting so long So is it okay if I tell you now?" I say and she nods. She leans her head off of my shoulder and looks me in the eyes. "Go ahead babe, I'm listening" she says and holds my hand. I sigh and look at our hands. "Before you and aj got here, I was... I was going to kill myself, I was planning on leaving this place after everything that has happened, Sophie and Minnie getting taken, my Grandma and Grandpa passing, losing everything in my life, until you and aj came, you becoming my girlfriend, every thing we do together makes me happy, you guys are my world and I can't lose you guys, I won't" She looks me in the eyes and leans forward for a little kiss. "Violet, me and AJ aren't going anywhere okay? If they do come back, I won't let them take you or AJ, I promise" she says and puts my hand up to her heart. "Forever" she says and smiles. I smile back. "Forever" i pull her into a hug. She hugs back and rests her head on my shoulder again. "I love you violet" she mumbles. "I love you clementine" We pull back from the hug and intertwine hands. "Come on, we've waisted enough time" I say. We get up and head out to everyone.

We walk out of the building still hand in hand and see everyone running around doing there work as always. Louis spots us and runs over. "Good Morning Ladies, how are my favorite people doing?" He smiles. "Good morning, and my eye still hurts like hell" Clem says and winces in pain. AJ see's clem and runs over to us. He hugs her legs. "Hey Clem and Violet" We both smile down at him. "Morning Kiddo" I say. "Hey Buddy, how did you sleep?" Clem asks. He smiles. "I slept good, can we still hang out like you promised?" she looks at me and then back at AJ. "Sure buddy, after I'm done with my lookout shift we can" she says. "Okay, can I do lookout with you too? I wanna be on patrol" he says and we all share a little laugh. "Yes you can" She says an ruffles his hair. He waves goodbye to us and runs off. We all wave back. "God I cant wait to get this day over with" I say. "Well someone's grumpy" Louis says. "I'm just tired still" I say and lean my head on Clem's shoulder. She wraps her arm around my waist. "She's okay, so where's Minerva.." Clem says in a cold tone. I look up at her. "She uh...well I don't know how to say this" Louis says and scratches the back of his head. "What is it?" I say with a glare. "She's gone, I went this morning to wake her up but she wasn't in her room" Clementine let's go of me and turns around. She takes her cap off and runs her fingers through her hair. I walk up to her and put my hand on her shoulder. "Clem it's okay..-" "No it's not! Violet don't you see that she's gone and now the raiders definitely going to come back for us, shit this is all my fault" she walks off. "GOD DAMMIT" she yells at the sky. "You better go talk to her" Louis says. I nod and head over to clem who is now stressed as hell.

"Clem" I sit next to her and put my hand on her shoulder. She has her hands on her face. She sniffles and looks at me. She pulls me into a hug and I hug back. "I'm sorry" she pulls me close to her and cry's son my shoulder. "Hey, you don't have to apologize clem, if they come back,  I'm gonna make sure no one gets taken, okay?" She sniffles again and nods. "I just want you and AJ safe, what if you guys get taken? What if one of you get hurt and I'm not there to stop it from happening" I place my index finger and thumb on her chin and raise it for her to look at me in the eyes. "That's not going to happen, do you hear me? I won't let them lay a finger on me or him. I will protect you and him with all of my life" I say on the verge of crying. " Listen to me clem, i will fight hundreds, even thousands if it's possible before they get near you two" I say with a chuckle. She smiles big  and pulls me in. I kiss her lips gently. I can feel her smile through the kiss. She pulls back and laughs. "I love you, you dork" she says. "I love you too even bigger dork" she laughs and rests her head on my shoulder. "It's gonna be okay"

2 months until the 4th episode, and there's actually a way you can keep clem alive, but then there's a way that she can die, my dumbass will probably end up getting her killed. but anyways, here's another chapter for you, sorry that I've taken so long on it, shits been going on, but anyways I love you guys and I hope you all have a wonderful day/night :)
