I Think I've Met My Lover - A Violentine Story

It's Finally Over

Clementine's POV

After begin captured, beat up, and now AJ getting shot. This is one of the worst weeks of my life. I can't bare to see AJ dead. No stop, I can't think about that. He's going to survive, he's a survivor, like I am.

I open my eyes slowly and feel arms wrapped around me from behind. It's Violet, I already know. Her hands were intertwined with mine and they were surprisingly warm. I turn around slowly so her arms don't fall off my waist. I smile at the sight of her sleeping. She's absolutely adorable when she sleeps.

How did I get so lucky? To find someone that I want to spend everyday of my life with. Amazing and Caring friends. And my favorite person in the world, AJ. I hope he's doing okay, my body doesn't seem too hurt like I was before. I wondering how long I've been out.

I hear violets breathing start to pick up, meaning that she's starting to wake up. She opens her eyes slowly and our eyes meet. She smiles at me and pulls me closer too her. "Good Morning Baby" she says. I smile and hug her back. "Good Morning Vi" she yawns and let's go of me.

"How long have you been up?" She asks and leans back on her back. "Not long, I've just been up thinking" I said. She turns to her side again and looks at me. "What about?" She asks. I get on my side too and look into her eyes. "How amazing all of you are. You guys care so much about me and AJ and I greatly appreciate every single one of you" I say. She smiles and puts a piece of hair behind my ear. "Hell yeah we do, you and him have brought us happiness and that's all we can ask for. You and AJ mean so much to us and we're so lucky to have you guys" She says. I smile and lean forward. Our lips collide. The kiss is soft and gental, like always. "I love you" She says. "I love you too" she smiles and pulls me back into a hug.

"Do you feel like seeing AJ?" She asks. I nod. "Can you move?" She asked. "I think, I'll try, here help me" I say. I hold my arms out and she pulls me up slowly. Pain starts to take over my body. "Ahhh, shit I can't do it" I say. "Here, we'll take it slow okay, if your about to fall tell me and we'll stop" She says. She puts an around around my waist while I have mine around her neck. I take one step and then another. Eventually, I get moving.

We make it to Violets room where AJ was put. I see Louis,James, Aasim sitting outside the door. "What are you guys doing?" Violet asks. "We're waiting until Ruby gets done, we were about to come see you because of how long it was taking" Louis says. "She's still not done with him? How long has it been?" I ask. They look at me and frown. "About 3 days, you've only been out a day but AJ's been out longer" Aasim says. I look at Violet and frown. She pulls me into a small hug and I cry on her shoulder. I lean back and look at them. "Just please, at least tell me he's doing okay?" I ask. "Yeah, he's doing fine, she's just working on him a little more because of how bad the shot was" Louis says.

Violet sits me down on the couch that is placed beside the door of her room. Well I guess all we can do is wait.

After about 30 minutes of waiting for ruby to get done with AJ, she was finally out. Violet woke me up after I fell asleep on her shoulder.

"Hey, lets go see AJ babe" she says. I look up at her and smile. She helps me up and helps me walk into her room where AJ is. Right as I walk through the door, there he is, sprawled out on the bed covered in bandages. I can feel tears forming behind my eyes. Violet helps me walk over to him. She sits me on the bed and I look down at him.

He's still out of it. I look up at Ruby who was sitting there wiping off sweat on her forehead. "Is he gonna be okay?" I ask. "Yeah, he just needs rest and so do you, you can barely walk" she says. "I know, I just needed to see if he's okay" Violet puts her hand in my shoulder. "He's gonna be okay Clem, all he needs is rest" I nod. "Do you want to rest with him? He'll be waking up soon" Ruby says. "Yeah, I can do that" I say.

Violet helps me lay next to AJ. I lay down and look at him. I look back up at Violet and she smiles. She leans down and kisses my forehead. She does the same with AJ. "I love you" I smile. "Both of you" She looks at me and AJ. "We love you too" I say. She takes my hand and kisses the back of it. She lets go and waves to me before she walks out. "I'll be back later okay?" I nod. "Okay" I whisper to where she can hear me. She smiles and walks out.

I look over at AJ. I can't believe that I let that happen to him. I place my hand on his cheek. "I'm sorry AJ, I'm sorry for not being there for you when it happened, I should have been in your place" I say with tears running down my eyes. "I love you Goofball" I say. He moves and tosses in his sleep and snuggles up next to me. I smile and put my arms around him.

It's over, it's finally over.
