Henry:
I saw Chloe walk away. My chest burned and my mind was losing all of its control and I grabbed the sharp tool from my pocket and as she vanished down the stairs, I cut my wrists. I watched as the blood escaped and fall to the floor. In seconds my head went fuzzy and things became hard to see. My legs wobbled and I fell to the floor.
The next thing I know is I'm feeling something against my mouth and my chest being pushed in. Then a hard object slamming into my chest and a rush of air hit my lungs making me jolt up.
I looked into the eyes of Chloe. Tears surfacing and her arms wrapped around me.
"I thought you were dead!" she yelled and I noticed she wasn't wearing a shirt. My thumb felt the soft smooth skin of her back.
"Why didn't you, let me die?" I questioned her.
She looked at me and started talking about that everyone who was dead and cared about her would leave. Then I told her that if I died then she could be free alone with all the dead souls begging to be sent away from this cage.
Something inside me wanted her to just tell me she cared about me or even, loved me. But I knew she loved Aidan and would alway hate me for killing him. But I just wished she would tell me she did at least once.
"Henry! You're fucking crazy!" she said and her arms wrapped tighter around me. Her breathing was heavy and breaking every second.
"What do you expect from me?" I said.
There are things I wish I hadn't done, and things I wished I did. If I didn't kill Aidan, Chloe would have grown up and married him then get murdered on their honeymoon. Looking at her pale features and her brown hair covering one eye I would have died knowing a beautiful girl like her was dead.
I couldn't bear to see her die from murder.
I love her even if she doesn't love me back.
