"Are you sure about leaving the Akatsuki to take care of these kids?" Konan asked, a bit uncomfortable with her friend's decision. "I can still try to convince Leader to let them stay."
"I agree with Konan," Sasori added. "At the very least, the kids would be safe there."
"I appreciate the gesture, but I promised the kids, I would become their family. Growing up with nineteen older siblings who didn't care for me, I want to make sure they don't end up the way I felt," Crystal replied. "And I don't think that living in an environment filled with S-rank criminals is a good idea."
"And I guess there's no way to change your mind," Konan sighed. "Very well, I'll tell Leader that you died while doing your best to fight off the man."
Crystal nodded. "Thanks again, Konan. Feel free to come and visit every once in a while." She turned over to Sasori. "I'll wait for you, too."
"Hey! What about us?!" Deidara demanded. Crystal looked at them. "Oh, you guys were here, too? Sorry, I didn't notice you," she joked.
"And here I was thinking I was actually going to miss you, un," Deidara growled under his breath.
"I'll miss you, Crystal-chan!" Tobi said grabbing her leg. "And I'll miss all the little kiddies as well!"
"We'll miss you, too, Tobi-chan!" The kids chorused as they waved goodbye and walked down the mountain path to find a suitable place to build their house.
They decided to make a house in the flower field a little ways from the forest, the nearby village and the river that was clean and had a school of fish swimming through it. Crystal surveyed the field and saw a large boulder that would be a good support for the house and could possibly be used to hide a secret exit. While the kids went over to the river to catch some fish, she went over to the village to purchase some planks of wood to help build a house. The people were even kind enough to help her build it when they heard she was taking care of nine kids.

"Are you their mother?" The man asked as they began to build the house.
"Well, kind of," she replied. "I found them all alone in the forest and couldn't bear to just send them to an orphanage."
"That is very kind of you," another man said as he brought over more wood.
"In that case, you would need a father figure for them wouldn't you?" The wife of one of the men added. She came to help take care of the kids as they played around the flower field. "You can always find a lot of wonderful men in the village." She giggled as she her husband had an arm around her waist.
"I already have a boyfriend, to be honest."
"Oh, what happened to him?" The man asked.
"Because my work place where the both of us used to work helped to provided me with a place to stay and wouldn't let me bring the kids with me, I decided to leave and start my life again somewhere else. Of course, my boyfriend will come and visit every now and then."
"I hope you can find a peaceful start here. If you need anything, you're only a little ways from the village," the woman said, holding Crystal's hand gently.

A few weeks later, the house was done being built and they moved in happily. A few villagers came to visit every now and then. Sasori came and visited two time with Deidara as they became partners. They were currently staying with Crystal for a few days until Konan comes over to deliver their next mission. Although, Crystal has been feeling a bit weak these past few days and waking up and vomiting. She decided to consult the village doctor later that day.

"Miss Crystal?" The doctor called out to her while she spaced out at the news. She jolted back into reality and looked at the doctor. "I believe it would be best to tell your boyfriend. I understand your situation but I'm sure you wouldn't want this child's father to think it's another child that you could possibly be looking after."
"I understand. Thank you, doctor," Crystal bowed and left the village. She was anxious. Anybody could notice that much about her as she walked out of the doctor's room.

As she walked into her house, she was met with the kids showing her the many sculptures they made with Deidara and a large puppet that they had 'forced' Sasori to make. "Crystal, hurry up and take care of them, un. They are making as exhausted as that time we fought a whole army of ANBU, yeah," Deidara managed to gasp despite being tired.
"Well, later. Sasori, I need to talk to you," she said. "Privately."
Sasori seemed a bit suspicious and worried at her serious tone but stood up and followed her to her room. She closed the door behind her and tried to think of a way to break the news to him. "Sasori..." He looked at her curiously and with a bit of anticipation. She took a deep breath. Followed by another...then another...and another. Then she walked up to Sasori and grabbed his hand and stared dead straight into his eyes. "Sasori, I'm pregnant."
At this, Sasori's eyes widened and the door behind them fell open and the kids and Deidara fell on top of each other. Just behind Konan could be seen with a small smile on her face. When the kids got up, they cheered loudly in happiness for a new member in the family. Konan and Deidara congratulated them as well. "So what is your response?" Konan asked Sasori.
Sasori pulled his girlfriend into a kiss to which the girls all fawned over while the boys groaned in disgust. "I would be happy to be the father of that child," Sasori replied when they pulled away.

And thus, a new life began for them. A life with nine children, several friends to support them and an unborn child.
