Chapter Twelve

‎                     بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

Mr. Malik's. Phone started ringing at 2am in the morning the caller ID is unknown and it kept ringing and he hissed and picked up the call. On the other side was Ansari (humaira's father) and he said I thought you will never pick up my call Mr. Malik, Mr Maliki was clueless about the caller then Ansari continued he said it's Ansari your adoptive son's ex father in law and Mr Malik clenched his fist and said what do you want from me traitor then Ansari laugh mischievously you know that I know your secrets more than anyone else right so watch out, don't mess with me moron or I will destroy you, your daughters and adoptive son, before I forget I am calling to tell you that your adoptive son and his mother in law are save here with me and don't make a fuss about it just simply do as I say irredeemable old man, I will text you the address to meet me up by 7am in the morning or else your daughters will never get married in this life, I will expose your secrets and then kill your adoptive son and his mother in law. He then cut the call leaving trembling Mr. Malik spineless

Mr. Malik couldn't go back to sleep again at 3am in the morning his daughter-in-law Asiya and Ruman went to his side and found him pacing back and forth in his parlor and Ruman knows that something is wrong and she worriedly  touched his shoulders lightly asking him if everything is okay and he was surprised to see her by this hour of the night on top of that Asiya it's with her he felt scared and thought they found out about Zaid's and Asiya's mother kidnappers, he started stammering please sit down and what are you doing awake by this hour of the night he asked cautiously. Ruman narrated to him what Asiya have told her earlier and he felt relieved and guilty at the same time

Asiya went back to her apartment even though Ruman tried convincing her to stay with her for the night but she refused just hoping Zaid will come back, she was feeling uneasiness and when she checked her time it's pass 4' am in the morning, she went and performed ablution and started praying her tahajjud (midnight) prayers and in each sujud (prostration) she will cry so hard telling Al-Khālid (The Creator) Al-Khabeer (The All Aware) Al-Mujib (The Responsive, The Answer) all her problems and she believed that He (swa) will take care of her affairs. Her fajr alarm went on so she prayed her fajr and slept on her praying mat with tears in her eyes.

Mr. Malik left he's mansion at 6'O'clock in the morning unnoticed, he followed the instructions and direction of Ansari, after reaching his destination he dialed Ansari's number and he picked up after the fifth ring and he was like why on earth are you disturbing my sleep Malik Ibn Thabbit, it punctured Mr. Maliki's heart but he dryly laugh and told him to bring his son and his son's mother in law safely or else he will have to face his wrath, Ansari laughed and cut off the call. He went to his daughter's room and told her to wake up and meet him in his study. After about 15mins she met him in his study and he told her what they should do next, she laughed after hearing her father's plan and told him that I cannot wait to see Zaid's family crumble.
  
Mr. Malik started feeling restlessness when Ansari's phone came through, and told him to stay still that he did show up in few minutes with his son and his son's mother in law
   

Zaid on the other hand just regained his conscious and he saw his self tied up with rope in one uncompleted building and he remembered what happened last night ( in the process of saving his mother in law he was trapped by humaira and as well kidnapped), he was thinking of how to escape then he saw an empty bottle of wine, he moved with his chair closer and he managed to break the bottle with his foot and he tactically took the broken piece of the bottle and tried to untie the rope in his hand, after about 15mins of trial he succeeded in untying his hands, he went on and on and undid all the rope that he was tied to. He checked his pockets but couldn't find his phone and he tiptoed to the door and slide the knob slowly, he saw a guard sleeping peaceful, he walked passed him and started checking all the rooms in the building and he heard some cries and the more he moves closer the more intense the cry is, he came closer again and he recognized his mother in law's voice, yet he saw 2 giant guards at the door he thought he's mother in law was staying he tiptoed so as not to wake the guards he tried opening the door but it was locked, he then saw the key on the table where the guards are sleeping he slowly took the key and gently open the door without making much sound, he saw he's mother in law's figure laying down on a mattress and she didn't even turn to look at the person that came in she said I am not going to eat please let me rest in peace and when Zaid heard that tears formed in his eyes and went close to her and hugged her from behind and when she looked up to her son in law her tears intensified he hushed her and told her that they need to escape before dawn. They tiptoed I find their way out and started running till they saw a car and stopped it
