Blaire's POV
September 18,1990
I sat down on one of the armchairs in the drawing room with Lockhart's Magical Me in hand.

Draco and Pansy sat in individual chairs too from across me.

We were waiting for mum to call us down to buy our clothes for the party and we spent our time reading before we go.

"I really think we need to apologize to Blaise." I said after a short while.

"Why?" Draco asked.

"I feel bad. I really think we should stop the pranks." I explained.

"What?! For once Blaire, have some fun." Pansy complained and slammed her book down on the table loudly.

"Pansy, we're ten year olds! We still have lots of time to have fun!" I exclaimed and put my book down on the table beside hers.

Just as Pansy was about to retort, a voice spoke from the doorway.

"Apology accepted." the voice said.

Pansy, Draco and I turned to see Blaise leaning on the doorway.

"Blaise." I sighed and stood up to walk towards him.

"Blaire, sorry. Shouldn't have teased you and Draco during dinner last time." Blaise apologized.

I hugged him tight and smiled as he returned the embrace.

"Am I missing something?" I hear a voice ask.

Blaise and I let go of each other to see mum walking to us.

"Are we going now mum?" I asked her as she stopped right in front of us.

"Yes, we will. I presume you're all readied up?" she said, addressing Pansy and Draco.

"Yes Mrs. Zabini. We're all ready to go." Pansy said with a nod.

"Very well then let's go." mum said and gestured us to follow her down the hall to the stairs.

When I turned around to wait for Pansy and Draco, Pansy threw me a glare and walked past us.

"She's mad." Draco said as we followed mum with Pansy in the lead.

"I just wanted to do the right thing." I sighed.

Blaise patted me on the shoulder.

"It's all right Blaire, she'll come to her senses soon enough." he assured me with a wink as we made our way down the stairs.

"I hope so." I mumbled to myself as we entered the living room and walked towards the big fireplace.

"Let's do this by groups," mum explained and started to group us up. "Blaire and Draco, you go after me, Pansy and Blaise." she said as she got some floo powder and went in the fireplace with Blaise and Pansy.

As they settled themselves in, mum threw the powder to the ground and cried, "Diagon Alley!" then they were gone.

"Are we going now?" I asked Draco after a few minutes of waiting.

I waited for him to respond and he nodded.

"Let's go." he said and walked towards the fireplace.

"Really?" I complained and took some floo powder from the pot and stood beside Draco in the fireplace.

I took a dee breath and cried, "Diagon Alley!" and the familiar green flames erupted from the ground.

Next thing we know, the familiar feeling of being sucked was back and after a while the floo finished it's job.
