Cindy showed me her hand. A diamond sprarkled on her right hands ring finger.

"Hes my fiancé, now"

"Oh my gosh, THATS GREAT!" I said, and gave her a hug.

"Ahem, my turn." Andrew Mr.Hungry-for-hugs said, and I gave him one too. They were getting married. Everything was happening so quickly!

This was going to be super fun!

I was walking to Davids house in a tank top and denim shorts and my locket. My parents were so happy when Andrew and Cindy gave them the news. Cindy called her parents too. They live in London.  They couldn't come right now, they would only be able to fly down in december. So now, after a long video conference, they've decided that Andrew and Cindy will get married before Christmas. Justin called awhile later, and I told him about the wedding, he was happy too! He said he'd come no matter what.

When I opened Davids back door, his mom and dad were on the couch watching TV. I doubt they knew that on that very couch we watched their ship 'sink'. "Hi Mrs.Rogers, hi Mr.Rogers!"

"Hi Alex!" Said Mr. Rogers

"Hi sweetie!" Mrs.Rogers said,"How are you?"

"I'm good. Wheres David?"

"Hes up in his room." She said with a big smile.

I went up and knocked on his door.

"Come in!" He said.

"Hey." I said, closing the door.

"Wheres Justin?"

"He had to leave last night. I heard about what happened. Why did you do that?"

"I don't know, I felt too far from her, like it wasn't working out." And he did something hes never done before.

He buried his face in his hands and broke down.

"David, why are you crying?" I asked. I sat on the bed next to him and gave him a hug.

"I'm just so confused! I don't know why I did it. Hey, you talked to Kate, didn't you? You think she'd give me a second chance?"

"To tell you the truth, she won't." She texted me this afternoon, she bought My Worlds, and she and Michael were officially a couple.

"Oh. So she and Michael...."

"Yup." And he buried his face in a pillow.

"Hey, guess what? Wedding bells are ringing!"

"So Justin proposed or something? Wow." He said blandly.

"No, idiot! Andrew and Cindy!"

"Oh, good. Great! When?"

"December. Before Christmas."

"Nice." And he buried his face in the pillow again. I got a sudden idea.

"David, lets go."

"Where?" He asked looking up.

"Come on." I pulled him by the arm.

"Why are we sitting here?" He asked me.

We were sitting on the bench by the pond where we used to come when we were six.

"Well, because we have a lot of happy memories here."

"That was when we were little. I don't think I'll be able to remember them, let alone cheer me up."

"You're not the only sad person here."

"Why are you sad?"

"Um, maybe because my boyfriend is miles away from me. This place reminds me of Justin."

"Why?"

"Because, David, I brought him here once," I laughed,"and then while we stood there, kissing, i almost fell in the water, and he saved me." I felt tears, and blinked them back. If Justin wasn't here to calm me, I didn't want anyone else doing it. Not even David. Instead, I opened the locket, and gazed down at his beautiful face.

"You know, Alex, theres something I've been meaning to-" I glanced at my phone. It was 3:50....oh damn! Only ten minutes left.

"David, could we talk later? I need to rush."

"Okay. Bye." He said, sadly.

I ran back home and up the stairs to my room. I slammed the door shut and pulled out my laptop.

The video call with Justin connected, but on the other end, he wasn't there. He was in a corner singing.

To another girl.
