Snape did do some good stuff.
I feel like people who hate Snape sometimes over-villainize him. Yes I know this whole account is anti-Snape but hate is a strong word and he wasn't total trash.
HE SAVED HARRY'S LIFE
Let's not invalidate this. Let's not forget that however much he hated Harry because of James, he didn't let him die.
HE SPIED AND LIED FOR DUMBLEDORE
He may have only done it because of Lily, but he did it still, at risk of his own life.
HE SWORE A BINDING OATH TO HELP DRACO
Not a commitment you undertake lightly.
HE LET HIMSELF BE KILLED FOR THE GOOD OF THE WIZARDING WORLD
I think he died a heroic death. If you don't agree, tell me why.
Let's not turn Snape into a demon. Let's not draw him in black-and-white. Let's allow him to be dark grey, and remember the good stuff he did.
