Diannes POV
It got to lunch and I was sat with AJ on one of the canteen tables, Joe came up to us and said "Hey Di you didn't give me a chance to finish what I was saying earlier, Do you want to come to mine later and work on the project? . "Are you sure don't just want me t do it all and stick both of our names on it because I would be happy doing that if you want since I like the work" I replied. "No course not! We got paired up together so we could work together on this, I want to help" he says shocked. "I know but your one of the populars surely you don't wanna be caught hanging round with me after school, you want to be with your mates and the populars girls, you will get made fun of for hanging round with the lonely good nothing Australian exchange student" I said. Before Joe had a chance to say anything Emily one of the populars girls came running over. "Ew Joe why are you talking to her?" She said. "This is what I mean"I said to Joe as I edged closer to AJ. "Look just give me a minute Emily" Joe said.

Joes POV
"No Joe come sit back at our table now" Emily said looking straight me in the eye. "I said 1 minute" I replied starting to get annoyed. "I don't know why your talking to her anyway she's so ugly and definitely not one of us she doesn't belong her she needs to go back to her own country" Emily blurted out.

Diannes POV
At that point I couldn't control my emotions anymore I buried my head into AJs chest and he wrapped his arms around me. "Now look what you have done!" I heard him shout at Emily. "She never cries never so this must of really upset , just leave us alone!" He continued. "Whatever" I heard Emily say as she strutted back to her table. "Look Joe I recommend you go back to your friends , I will get Di to text you about the project she's clearly really upset about what Emily said and I think she just needs to be alone" AJ said to Joe. "Thanks Mate I will see you round, just please get her to text me I need to know she's ok" joe Replied. "Will do" AJ said.
