Devin's POV
I was back in the devil's lair, he wanted a hit on someone but I was really not into it, I always had this sour feeling that Elisa won't like it but I had to do what I had to do..

"Alex what will you suggest I do?" I sighed into the phone and looked so worried.
He opted to text me in case anyone was eavesdropping.
I was happy I had a smart best friend, he advised me to make the hits wear bullet proof vests when I am about to make a hit but before it, they'll plan their funerals and everything to make it look real..

     Briston won't know what hit him, I chuckled and waked out to eat.

Briston was happy everything was going well, he ate and drunk to his fill, organising private parties and orgies..

It was almost time for everything to be over, I had tolerated Brie's flirting just to be able to achieve everything..

     The party came to a halt when police officers marched into it and arrested Briston.
He was drunk so wasn't sure what exactly was going on..

Elisa's POV
I didn't think Devin would go to such a great length for me, doing what he did and all I have done so far was treat him like some piece of shit..
Making this plan work was tough, seeing Brie do what she did was painful but I had to act the part for things to work out..

I loved Devin so much and after all this was over I will tell him and apologise..

"Hey, are you okay?" Devin asked and I didn't know what to say so I nodded my head and muttered a thank you to him.
He became a fine detective, my detective; I blushed and he laughed knowing perfectly I was thinking about him..

Let's go back to when I had to see Devin, unfortunately we made plans after he was released.

I met him earlier before the Brie stunt we pulled off, we wanted them to feel they needed the upper hand.
When Devin had told me everything about him and what he wanted to do, I wasn't sure we could pull it off.

    Watching another woman flirt with my man and throw herself at him just to catch my parents murderer was hard but worth it..

    From everything Devin said looks like I wasn't the only family Briston destroyed but here we are united and in love..
  

I was lost in thought when Sylvia tapped my shoulder, I turned to see Devin on one knee asking me to be his wife, I couldn't breath..

I choked on a tear and said "if it means I'll have your dick forever then yes yes" they both laughed as I kissed my fiance so hard..

We haven't had sex or being intimate since he got into this place but it will change soon..

My hatred and anger almost made me lose something so pure.
