"Will you be my girlfriend?" Devin went on one knee with a ring in his hand, the crowd was getting thick around them and some even taking pictures and videos of the moment..
Elisa was shocked and managed to utter a yes with teary eyes, Devin got up and kissed her so hard that it hurt, he shed a tear for his new love. He was happy finally and he didn't want anything to come in between him and Elisa..

Elisa's POV
I know it is too soon, don't scold me or anything but yes I loved Devin, so much and even though the proposal came as a surprise it still didn't stop me from accepting, it was a a slim diamond ring that fit perfectly on my slender finger.. He knew what I loved and he didn't care how much it cost.

  He always spoilt me, buying me things I don't even need, I use to worry about how he earned his money until I saw he worked some days at an office...
  Devin was the perfect man; we haven't had sex yet, I was scared and I hardly knew him so that was a factor..
I also didn't tell him I was a virgin, I just made sure things didn't escalate to that point for us to have sex....

   Devin was patient with me, he taught me a lot of things and I met his best friend Alex who Sylvia drooled over when I showed his picture to her.... She has taken a liken to him but I told her to be careful these men are hard to predict..

      Devin's phone rang, it was Alex who told him to hurry and get home because he had a visitor.
Who could it be, Devon though but as he walked into his apartment and heard that voice he frowned..
  "What do you want Brie?" Devin harshly asked, "That's no way to welcome an old friend" Brie stressed on the friend part and laughed hard.

  Brie motioned for Alex to leave so she can have a private conversation with Devin but he pretended not to see it.
"Dev can you tell your friend to excuse us?" she politely asked, "whatever you have to say Brie you better say it in front of Alex or you can leave?" Devin lashed back which left Brie in shock..

That only made Alex smirk and sit close to Brie which made her uncomfortable but he was enjoying her reaction, "such an idiot!" Brie thought to herself.
She explained to Devin she needed him on a job, she pleaded with him which Devin declined no matter the amount Brie offered.

"I stopped being a hitman and I am not becoming one for any flimsy reason, you dork!" Devin smirked and heaved a sigh, Brie looked quizzically at him and stood up, she straightened her dress and said "well we will see when the time comes whether you will or not, till then bye" she sinisterly smiled with a hint of evil in her eyes..

Brie's POV
I couldn't believe Devin turned me down, after all the numerous sex bouts we've had and even though I still love him I didn't care..
He looked at me with so much disgust in his eyes, as if I was the devil himself but maybe I was who cared? I use it to my advantage..
I drove off thinking of my next plan and how to bring Devin to his knees for him to come begging for me again. An evil grin played at the edge of her lips.
