Theme mission
A blizzard was raging. A small white orb was lost in all the snow drifts, wrapped in a small hat. The orb began to glow, shining through the snow and bitter winds. The glimmer died down, and the only visible thing was a pair of shiny red eyes. They squinted through the storm, and a white tail began to block the eyes. The fokko stepped out of the shelter of the hat, before curling up against it. He couldn't fit back in, so he gripped the hat in his teeth and pulled. With a yelp of surprise, he fell back and into a drift. The snow fluttered around him, getting in his eyes and through his fur. He shivered and stuck his head in the hat, pulling up with it in his eyes. Beginning to wander away from his place of beginnings, he fought the wind step by step for he was so light. He hit a barely clear road, though he didn't know. He kept walking, paw before paw, towards a forest, towards somewhere, anywhere but where he was. He just wanted to find some warmth As he walked, the snow began to feel warmer, more home-like. His paws were numb, but he already felt the warmth returning to him. And as he reached the forest and pulled the hat from off his eyes, he saw the beauty of where he came to. He slid into a warm, but empty, cave, where he stared out to the snow. His eyes slid closed, before opening with a sudden gust of wind blowing through the cave. His eyes widened as a thread flew in, guided in by a small bloom of fire. He slid back, closer to the back of the cave. The thread held a glittering little snowflake. A sweet voice came in, with a glimmer of green eyes, matching the color of the flame around the thread. "Follow the light" the voice said, and the eyes flickered out and disappeared. He obeyed, following the flickering green flame. The blizzard had relaxed, with small gusts of wind twisting around his ears, pushing them up before finishing playing and dropping them back to their normal curled position. He padded through the drifts, leaping to pick up speed and follow the flame. He flew onto a drift, sliding down the top and gliding along a frozen lake, leaving small divots where his tiny, soft claws gripped the ice to slow down. As he finally got his paws under control and climbed onto the bank and looked up towards the final bit of his journey, the hardest part. He looked up at the mountain (from his view) and questioned why he had to climb it. "Why couldn't they come down here?" he muttered, but resigning himself, he began to climb. Humming, he began to time his steps to the beat he was humming. He came upon many views, but when he came to one of the tallest ledges, he saw someone else there too, wearing a small fluffy cloak. As he approached them, they flicked their tail and the fire flicked out. They turned towards him, then spoke. "Hello! I'm so sorry!" tears welled up in their eyes as they spoke. "I dropped mom's hat and your bead!" They took a deep breath and relaxed "But you're here now, my little blizzard. And now that you're here, we can find your theme! Are you ready my brother?" Blizzard nodded, somewhat surprised, before feeling them wrap their tail around him. "That's the spirit. And I, as Pine, will help you all I can! Now come on!"
