My mouth was open but there was nothing coming out of it. We're just standing there in awkward silence until the door beeped and in walked Woods. A large grin grew on Sam's face seeing both of us together. Quickly pulling both of them into our office where we could be alone I whisper shouted, "You can't say anything! To anyone!"
"Why not? You two look great together and by what I saw with that kiss. You guys have chemistry with each other." Sam whined, "Promise me, Sam. You will not tell anyone about what you saw between Woods and I. It was just a kiss."
"Fine." She let a deep sigh out but perked quickly up saying, "are you two a thing?"
"The kiss was a one time thing. We're just friends. We agreed it ment nothing. Besides..." Woods started to answer her questions but took a long pause.
"Besides what?"
"Nothing, it's not important."
"Well, if it makes a difference. I could see something between you both at New Years. It might take a while but...there's something." A couple seconds later Catherine walked in ending our conversation. Woods gave me a long look before returning to his work.
All I could think of was what I said to him. That kiss meant something to me. I didn't know what but it was important. I'm not looking for a serious relationship right now because I just got out of one but all I wanted to do is kiss him again. Catherine, Sam, and Woods all were editing at there desks while I was drawing in my sketch book at my desk. I'm not an amazing artist it's just something I do when I'm bored.
Woods let out a small chuckle still focused on his laptop. The girls couldn't hear him but I could. A smile was plastered on his face from whatever he was editing. Woods did a double take when we looked around the room. I hadn't noticed me still watching him. It's just he looked so cute while laughing. He signaled me to come over to him with his head. Slowly shutting my sketchbook I made my way over to his desk.
I was bent half way over so I could see his screen. Playing the video for me it was a clip of Paul eating it while he was falling off the hoverboard a few days ago. I laughed from the clip. He paused the video when it ended and I turned my head over to the left and mine and his face where only a few inches apart. Our smiles faded as we looked at each others lip. Little did I notice that our faces were moving closer and closer towards each others.
"Ah," A pain hit my leg. Rubbing where my shin was hurting I caught Sam staring at me intensely. She motioned her head over at Catherine. She kicked me because Cat would have seen us kissing. Because all three of us knew it wouldn't just be a peck. It would have been one like earlier.
I straightened back up and walked out of the room to the bathroom. After I flushed the toiler and walked out of the stall Sam was waiting for me next to the sink, "Are you following me, Sam?" She moved out of the way letting me wash my hands.
"The two of you almost kissed, again. What if I want there to have stopped it? Someone could have seen or walked in on you two. Everyone here are amazing but it's your first day and your already making out with a co-worker. What would they be thinking?"
"I know but what am I suppose to do? I didn't even notice what was happening until you stopped it."
"Keep a distance. If you aren't near each other then you can't kiss each other. This doesn't mean move offices. Just, five feet apart. That's all I am suggesting." Sam turned and walked out of the bathroom. I was stood there against the wall thinking about what she had said. it makes sents. It can't be that hard took keep away from each other.
Short chapter. I really don't like this one that much.
