When I left the bathroom I was met by Matt in the kitchen. It was time to go to back to his house since the work day was finally over, "How was your first day?"

"Good," Matt turned his head facing me. Giving me a dirty look before looking back at the road while he was driving, "Well, I thought there would be more to the story. Especially since the answer I got from you earlier today when I asked you."

"Nope, just a normal day," I over exaggerated normal as a natural response. If I was Matt I wouldn't believe me either. Tomorrow is going to be so hard to stay away from Woods. We're friends and we like being around each other. Yeah, when we are together we have an attraction that over comes us but. Oh, forget it. I need to listen to Sam. It needs to be strictly business between us for now. I don't know how long but long enough that we aren't trying to smooch in front of the entire office.

We pulled into the driveway and walked up to the front door. Matt unlocked the door letting me entire the house first. I was immediately greeted by Luna running up and hugging my legs, "I've missed you." She yelled in her little voice. Letting go she then greeted her daddy with even more enthusiasm. A small smile brush my face as I walked into the kitchen to find Amanda frosting cupcakes, "Wow, those look amazing. What kind are they?"

"Vanilla with a hint of strawberry in the frosting. But you can't have any until you have dinner."

"Okay, Mom."

"So, how was your first day sharing an office with you know who," she nudged my side with her elbow moving her eyebrows up and down, "You and Sam are like letches trying to suck up all the information out of me."

"So not just Matt and I have caught onto your little romance."

"There's no romance! Just, two adults who somewhat like spending time with each other." My throat became dry all of a sudden so I made my way over to a cupboard and grabbed myself a cup. In the fridge I found some pop that I liked. Pouring myself a glass I took a sip turning over to Matt who just walked in with Luna on his hip, "I was informed  by a little birdy that someone say someone trying to do something with someone else in a room with two other someones." I immediately facepalmed knowing what he was talking about, "What?" Amanda asked.

"Sam," I angrily muttered under my breath.

"Am I missing something," Amanda asked once again confused looking back and forth between Matt and I, "Sam, she may have seen Woods and I kiss."

Matt and Amanda's expressions where both completely different. Amanda, she was jumping up and down with joy and giddiness. Matts, on the other hand, mouth was dropped as far as it could. I took a large gulp before quietly saying, "She didn't tell you about that part didn't she?"

"No, she only told me about the part where you almost kissed."

"I can't believe it! You two would make the perfect couple! Matt you owe me $5." Amanda said still hopping around the kitchen, "Wait, you two bet on me?"

"Well, only how long it would take for you guys to kiss. I said two weeks and Matt said a eight. I was the closest."

Matt sat me down in his home office to inform me about his rules about coworkers dating. He is fine with it as long as work is still getting done, PDA is a kiss here and there (hugs and minimum flirting is fine), and no favoritism is shone when deciding things during work. Plus keeping all relationship problems out of the office. They are pretty simple and common knowledge when it comes to dating a coworker.

It's already been twenty minutes since I've arrived at work and I'm terrified. Woods isn't in yet but he will be. I haven't told him that I am going to keep a distance between us but I don't think I should tell him. It might be awkward, us both making sure  we're five feet apart at all times. What if we walked past each other in a hallway and we come close to each other. It would just be so weird. So I guess I'm not going to tell home.
