As I walked onto the bus I slipped on the stairs, I was so embarrassed I wanted to run back inside and hide under my blankets.
"Omg Abby are you okay!?" Addy asked me.
"Yeah.. I'm fine." I told her, slowly standing back up. Everyone was laughing. Alexa just giggled and went to sit by her friends.
"Hey! Don't laugh at her that's not nice!" Addy told everyone. This was going to be a long ride to school. My only friends where my sisters, yet they still had other friends that they talked too. I sighed and looked out the window. The only time people ever talked to me was when they thought I was Addy, people used to always get us mixed up since we're identical, that changed when Mom got us both necklaces with our names on it, now everyone knows which is which.
"Are you sure you're okay sis? You have a bruise on your leg." Addy said. I looked down at my leg and saw a purple bruise growing on it.
"Yeah I'm fine, I told you that." I said, rubbing my leg. Finally, we pulled up to the school and students rushed into the building trying to avoid the pouring rain. I went to my locker and got my sketchbook, it was filled with drawings I made, some from years ago, some recently. Most of the drawings where based on how I felt. If I was happy, I would draw sun beaming down on someone giving them warmth and happiness. If I was sad, I would draw rain and lighting. I mostly had drawings of rain.
"What's that?" A boy from my class asked me.
"Nothing!" I said, quickly closing the book and shoving it into my locker.
"You're such a nerd Abby" he giggled and walked away. Why me? Why do people do this to me? What did I do wrong? I think about it everyday, but can never find an answer. The bell rings and I head to my first class.
