11 | little does she know

"Yeseul, the leader of Siren wants to meet with you", Hui sighed through the phone. The now blonde-brown haired girl raised a brow, why does Taesung want to meet? Their gangs had an on-again off-again type of relationship with Siren always being the one to step out of line.

"So early in the day? While the sun is out?", Yeseul asked. "It's dangerous to be doing these type of things with a high chance of getting caught. Don't you think it might be a trap?"

The male grunted on the other end of the line. "That is what Yuto and I were thinking when Taesung called, but he seemed pretty adamant about meeting. We can go as back up just in case"

Yeseul pursed her lips together and tapped her finger against the back of her phone. She knew that it would be good to have backup, but it isn't smart to have a third of her gang with her. Too high of a risk of getting caught in public. "I'll go by myself because I am the leader and it's too dangerous for you two to go with me", she replied. "Give me the location"

After Hui sent her the address, Yeseul decided to get ready. She knew what she was getting into, but she had to look the part of being a strong leader and hit woman no matter how early it was. She curled her hair at the tips and wore a white Gucci blouse with a red Louis Vuitton scalloped skirt. She applied her usual makeup before slipping on black stilettos.

Before Yeseul decided to slip out of her house, she looked on at the slightly ajar door. Her red lips were pressed together as she stared at the door, approaching it and poked her head in. Her eyes landed on the motionless lump in the middle of the king sized bed and the untouched breakfast she had made for Hongseok.

Her heart winced at the sight, "Hongseok, I am going to be out for a little bit. Your breakfast is on the bedside table."

No response, like always.

"Ah, lovely for you to come, Miss Bae"

A wicked grin played on the pale male's lips, leaning back in his seat and ran a hand through his pitch fire red hair. "New hair color, I see. Natural colors are very unlike you."

Yeseul rolled her eyes, taking her seat in front of Taesung. "I'm not here to chit-chat, Taesung, now why did you call me here?"

Taesung chuckled, taking a sip from his iced coffee and raised a brow. "Blunt as always, Yeseul, but I will oblige", he smiled, waving down a waitress who handed Yeseul a macchiato. "But please have a drink, you must be thirsty"

"Enough of this. If you do not tell me this instant then I will leave", Yeseul narrowed her eyes at the gang leader with her deadly gaze, pushing away the coffee cup.

"Alright, alright", Taesung laughed teasingly, putting his hands in front of him. "I have a business proposition. You are one of the most notorious, most well-known gang leaders in South Korea which is such an impressive title to hold, but with that comes danger. The police want you and I am not sure if you have noticed, but those dumb officers are putting the pieces together one by one", he explained, resting his elbows on the clothed, circular table. "You have a target on your back and especially for those around you."
