Chelsey POV
We took a taxi, we were now driving through the great city of Sarajevo, everyone should visit this city.
There were many mosques, and even churches. The weather was sunny, the bulidings were nice but there were some houses ruined in the war, like Amina said.
I knew that in Bosnia was a war, between the muslims(bosnians)and serbians, but i didnt know how it really was, i didnt know that i will hear a shocking story that will change my view.
We reached the house of Amina's friend, we left the taxi.
Aminas friend came. She was beautiful, she was wearing a headscarf like Amina. They were speaking Bosnian, hugging each othere. We were just standing there like idiots but ok.
'Hay how are you all, my name is Alma' the girl said in English, she was speaking english well.
'nice to meet you, my name is Chelsey and this is Tariq and Halid' i answered with a smile.
'ok, we should now go inside' Alma said, and so we did.
We were now in her house. Here were Alma was leaving was no flooding, so we had to go to other places were flooding were.
We were speaking about the travel.
Tariq said that they have to go to pray, they wanted to go to the mosque, there was a beautiful mosque near Almas house so they wanted to go there.
I decided to wait for them in Almas house, Alma could not pray cuz she was on her period.
Amina, Tariq, Halid left, and i and Alma were alone drinking some tea.
I didnt know what to speak with her, so a great topic came to my mind.
'So Alma i would like to ask you something'
'Yes, yes of course, ask what you want' Alma answered with a smile.
'I know that in Bosnia was a war, i would like to know more about it, could you explain me what happened' i asked looking at my hot tea.
Alma took a deep breath, it was hard for her to speak about it but she wanted to answer my question. After some silence she started:
'The war ended about 20 years, i was a teenager at that time, it was the hardest period in my life, seeing my people dying on the streets was....
then Alma stoped, i felt her face colour was slightly different, the pain was is her eyes, she could feel the same pain like before, the pain that never disapppeared. We were now sitting in an empty room, outside was raining, i was looking at her, but i never met her eyes cuz she was looking at the window, i felt that she could cry, she could scream from pain but something was stoping her.
After some moments she continued like she never stoped.
' I swear Chelsey every day was like a nightmare, and every night was my life dreaming about freedom.
I remember the day when i lost my family.
I saw my father one morning leaving the house to fight against the enemies, i remember his words that we dont have to worry about him, i never saw him after that..
She stoped one more time, but now she was different, she wasnt depressed, she looked through her house, probably memories came to her mind, with a sad smile she continued:
'We never found his bones, his is somewhere in the soil, 20 years are gone i still dont know where he is. SubhanAllah,SubhanAllah i would give everything to just see his face and hugg him...
Now paused. She was silent, no emotions, her smile was now gone, she drunk her tea, and started one more time with her scary but real story.
