Lucia's P.O.V.

"C'mon spill" kaycee urged
"I neeeeeed to know" Taylor whined leaning upside down off of my bed.
"Fine. Okay so after you guys left me alone on the dance floor, oh yeah by the way thanks for that" I sarcastically said
"Hey if we had never left you on the dance floor alone you would've never met this Brandon kid anyway" Taylor pointed accusingly shoving a twizzler in her mouth.
"Yeah yeah whatever. Anyways after you left we danced for a bit until he pulled me into the hallway-"
"Someone's blushing" Taylor singsonged as she sat up on the bed.
"It was just a kiss!" I claimed.
"Yeah just a kiss my ass!"
"What! I'm telling the truth all we did was kiss and that was it. I don't feel anything for this kid"
"Uh-huh, sure you don't" Kaycee butted in.
"Guys I swear I don't feel anything for this kid"
"Just admit Lia, you like him" Taylor stated this as if it was a fact out of a text book.
"I do not" i shoved a handful of skittles in my mouth
"Okay, if he texted you right now would you respond?"
"Yes, but only because it would be rude not to" i tried to defend myself
"Okay, what if he kissed you again? Would you want that to happen?" Taylor smirked
"I mean .... I guess ....I wouldn't hate it" i mumbled as I looked down.
"Gotcha there, I knew it."
"Okay whats the big deal I like the kid so what" I shrugged
"What are you going to do about it?" Kaycee questioned
"I'm just gonna see where it goes, I guess"
"Ugh I want a man" Taylor groaned
"Same" kaycee signed
"Um last party we went to you were pretty cozy with Sean" Taylor wiggled her eyebrows
"Oooh kaycee"
"We're just friends" she blushed
"Someone's got a crush" I blamed
"I do not"
"Do too"
"It's not like it even matters, he doesn't like me like that" she sighed
"Oh yeah he definitely doesn't like you because every guy that doesn't like you always cuddles on the couch with you" Taylor scoffed sarcastically
"Shut up" kaycee smacked Taylor's arm
I wasn't even listening to their conversation. I was so tired. It was something about how we needed to find a man for Taylor or something I really don't know. The last thing I heard from their conversation was Taylor immediately shutting down a suggestion of a boy from Kaycee.

"Wakey wakey time for school"
Taylor was currently trying to pry my eyelids open.
"Ow" i groaned rubbing my eyes.
I reluctantly got out of bed and got dressed into a plain black t-shirt and jean shorts.

"Look who finally made it down" Taylor teased
"Yeah yeah whatever" I walked into the kitchen quickly tying the bottom my shirt into a knot.
I sat down next to Kaycee. She slid me a bowl of cereal.
"Thanks" i mumbled trying to put my mess of hair into a ponytail.
"If you guys want a ride to school you better be in the car in 10 seconds" josh walked through the kitchen on his phone.
"10"
we all scrambled to get out shit together as he was counting down the hallway.
"9,8,7,6,5,4" he was out the door
I hobbled out the door slipping my shoe on.
"1"
The door to the car closed behind me
"You know you are a little bitch" Taylor said from the back
"Well at least I'm a bitch that's got his act together. You guys all look a mess" he put the car and drive and pulled out
"You're really nice" i grumbled shoving the last bit of bagel in my mouth as i buckled my seatbelt.
"Well its a new fashion trend. You should know you started it Josh" Taylor scowled
"Was that a burn there? Oooh I might need some ice" he joked sarcastically "and FYI i have a great sense of style" he boasted
"Oh yeah. You wear shorts and sweatshirts everyday" Taylor scoffed looking out the window
"No i do not" he parked the car
"Your style sucks. End of conversation" kaycee butted in "c'mon girls lets go"
We all walked together into school. Taylor slammed open the double doors causing numerous dirty looks in our direction.
She's always one to make an entrance.
"See you guys later?" Taylor asked
"I can't. I have gymnastics practice"
"Yeah same, I have to study for a test tommorow"
"Ugh you guys are no fun" she groaned
The bell rang making us all part ways.
English was my first class. My least favorite class. It was so hard. I can speak the language just fine but the way they write in it is so wack i don't get it. We are reading Shakespeare and it makes absolutely no sense. Why can't Shakespeare just say you instead of thy and thee. Like who let this weird old dude design his own language. I walked into the classroom and took a seat in the last row near the windows.

Class started and it was just as boring as every other english class we had. We were in the middle of reading Romeo and Juliet when the kid next to me nudged me.
"Hey psst here" he held out a folder piece of paper
I looked at him confusingly but reluctantly grabbed the note.
I opened it up as quietly as I could. The note read,

I heard you like fro-yo

Thats it. No name. Nothing else was written on it. I looked at the kids next to me. He mouthed 'respond' to me.
'This is stupid' i mouthed back
He shrugged. I rolled my eyes and wrote

Yeah?

I neatly folded it and gave it back to the kid next to me and focused back on the book. A few minutes later another nudge came along with another note.
I rolled my eyes and snatched it annoyingly out of his hands. This time it read

Well I heard that you're pretty good at the technique of fro-yo swirling and was wondering if you could help show me how its done?

What the fuck. This was so weird. I responded back.

I guess? Who is this?

The note was then passed along and came back to me a few minutes later. I opened it

Brandon

I looked around the classroom and sure enough there he was sitting with his messy brown hair flopped on his head and his beautiful brown eyes following the words of the book. He across at me and smiled. I immediately looked away, embarrassed that he had caught me staring. In the next minute another note was passed. This one read.

I'll pick you up at 7 ;)

I looked in his direction. He winked. I rolled my eyes and smiled.
