One week later
Living with vampires wasn't so bad. You've been studying under Iida and Aizawa, you've had gained a group of friends, a library of yaoi, and a potential crush.
But you did gain a potential enemy or enemies. Endeavor, who didn't want you as a guest in the first place, and Momo who has feelings for the young vampire prince.
Every time you would cross paths with Endeavor he would send you a glare that would scare you, but not scare you so much as to cower away. Living there for almost a weeks and a half shows that's he actually not scary at all, just an asshole.
Momo, on the other hand, you figured out that she changed her attitude on you is because she had a thing for Todoroki and he wasn't attracted to her and she basically blamed it on you. It didn't really bother you that she didn't like you, you weren't gonna get stoop down to that level. Also because whenever she tried to insult you, you'd always clap back.
Even though you didn't feel welcomed by everyone, you felt safe no matter.
You were in Todoroki's room reading a book, while he was taking a nap. He was hanging upside down with his knees on the canopy bed fast asleep.
You looked up from your delicious yaoi and saw how Todoroki was sleeping. You couldn't help but giggle at him. He was such a funny little vampire. It was so unbelievable how he was comfortable sleeping like that.
You were craving for a snack and decided you'd grab something from the kitchen real quick. You placed down the book and quietly made your way out of the room without disturbing Todoroki.
You made your way down to the kitchen when you heard a crash. As you got closer you heard shouting and frightened cries.
You pushed the door opened slightly and saw Deku cowering on the floor in tears while Endeavor was towering over him with a wooden spoon clutched in his hand.
"You good for nothing piece of shit! You can't do a thing right!" He whacked Deku with the wooden spoon once more.
"I-I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Deku cried as he held his arm over his face to protect himself.
Before Endeavor could hit Deku again, you jumped in and grabbed Deku. "He didn't do nothing wrong, stop hitting him!"
Deku buried his face into your chest and held onto you tight.
"You stay out of this! Leave!" He said pointing at the door.
"Not if you're gonna keep hurting my friend. He didn't do anything!"
"Women should stay in there place, now I'm going to tell you a second time to leave me to my business!"
You stood your ground. "I'm not letting you hurt him."
Endeavor growled and threw the spoon on the ground, making Deku flinch in your hold. "Foolish female."
That's when he stormed off somewhere leaving you and Deku alone.
"Izuku-kun, are you okay?" You asked.
"I-I'm fine." He whimpered. You lift his face up seeing a few marks and a bruise along with red puffy eyes.
"Oh my God." You sighed. "I-I'm fine (y/n), I really am."
You helped him off of the floor and took him too your room to go clean him up.
"Is that how you got that scar on your hand?" You asked softly.
"I..I made a mistake and...he whacked me with a fireplace poker." Deku said rubbing his hand.
You gently wiped his face with a warm cloth and kissed his cheek. "You poor thing."
That's when Todoroki came into the room. "(y/n), when I woke up you weren't there and...what's going on?" He asked.
Deku looks down and keeps quiet. "Izuku, are you okay?" He asked walking closer.
"I got hurt." He said softly.
"I walked into the kitchen and saw Endeavor hitting him." You confessed.
Todoroki sighed but look towards Deku and placed a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry this happened Izuku." He grabbed the cloth from your hand and helped with bruises.
"I'll make sure he won't hurt you again."
You couldn't help but hug the sweet little cinnamon roll.
~~~
"We'll take care of him, don't worry." Kirishima said patting Deku's back.
"Yeah, we'll teach him how to defend himself too, come on Deku." Bakugou said leading him out of your room.
"He didn't hurt you did he?" Todoroki asked.
You shook your head. "I couldn't sit there and watch him beat Izuku like that. I had to do something."
Todoroki sighed. "I understand, but he could've hurt you. Your safety is important to me."
"He doesn't scare me."
Todoroki gave half of a smile. "You're a brave one (y/n)."
"It's nothing." You shrugged.
Todoroki lifts up your chin and gently kisses your lips, letting out a soft hum. "Mind if I show you something?" He asked.
"Sure."
He took your hand and takes you to his study and to the right side of the room showing a desk filled with beakers, test tubes, and viles of different liquids and elixirs along with books and papers.
"What's all this stuff?" You asked.
"I like to study things. It's called Chemistry and I've actually made some medicine once or twice." He said.
"This is all quite intresting. Is that why you go outside all the time?"
Todoroki nods. "One of the reasons, yeah I do."
"You're an interesting person Todoroki." You said taking a seat next to him.
"Why thank you, so are you." You arched your brow. "How am I interesting?"
"Well, you're very outspoken. And you're very strong-willed, and you're not one to take someone's nonsense."
You felt a blush grow on your cheek and you looked away. "Thank you."
There was a knock at the door. "Todoroki, you're needed in the throne room." You heard Aizawa's voice.
Todoroki sighed and gets up from his seat and taking your hand. "Why don't you stay in the library for a little bit, I'll come to get you when I'm done."
"All right, I'll probably take a nap or something anyway." You said making your way towards your library.
Todoroki chuckles and makes his way to his destination.
