Twenty one

The village that you and Todoroki entered was a lot different than the one you used to live in. People weren't eyeing you funny because of your choice of style. And people were drinking, not like drunk drinking, but they actually had booze in the vendor streets along with women working some of the vendors stands making money. And you saw a schoolhouse and saw both male and female were going inside.   

"This place is a lot different from where I'm from." You said. 

"What was your village like?" Todoroki asked. 

"Ugh, where do I even start." You sighed. "The beginning." Todoroki said densely. 

"Well, first thing is that they didn't want the women to go to school or work. They basically want us to be mindless vessels that pop out babies every ten minutes." You rolled your eyes. "Also, they wanted us to wear dresses with the skirt all the way to the ground and sleeves all the way to our hands. It's not that I have a problem with the style that the other women choose to wear, it's just that I trip over the skirt a lot, and the sleeves be so hot, especially in the summer."  

"I see, but there's nothing wrong with a dress that goes to your knees, I think it looks nice." Todoroki said. 

"Lastly, it was a religious village. So everyone had to be a Christian, even if you didn't want to. And if you say otherwise, it's a horrible backlash. They're the type to just force it on you. One time these nuns went to my house and persuade my mother to make me wear a chastity belt." 

Todoroki arched his brow. "Then what happened?" Todoroki asked. "I threw that shit in the trash, get outta my face with that." You said. "I guess I'm ahead of my time or something." You said out loud. 

Todoroki wraps his arm around your shoulder and pulled you close. "Hush your head, why don't we get some food to mellow your emotions." He said. You gave a nod and smiled. "Sure, why not." 

Todoroki bought some fresh hot pasta for you while Todoroki was eating a slice of fresh hot pizza. "Would you like a bite?" Todoroki asked. "It's originally from the Italians. They baked the dough, and it has tomato sauce and basil leaves on it. They even melted the cheese." 

"I've never tried pizza before." You said. You take a bite and it felt like your taste buds were in heaven. "That's so good!" 

"And that's why I bought two slices." Todoroki unwraps the other slice and hands it to you.

You two threw away your empty wrappers and proceeded to your destination. You entered the bookshop and looked around. There were hundreds and hundreds of filling the shelves. You can't even recall your old bookshop at least having twelve books. This was all new and exciting for you.

"How may I help you young couple today?" Asked the woman behind the desk. "We're here for some cake." Todoroki said. 

The woman looked around and then back at Todoroki. "I just made a fresh batch, come follow me." She said gesturing you both towards the back. 

The three of you went behind a curtain in the back and saw various books of Yaois, Yuris, Harems, and so on. "It's like a dream." You said to yourself. 

"We've gotten new material from Japan. There are mainly pictures inside, they call it a Manga." The young woman said while opening up the create. "These have the English translation. Recently published." She hands you a few books that caught your attention. 

"Wow, thank you." You said. While the woman was wrapping the books up Todoroki handed her the required money for the Mangas. "Thank you so much, your highness." She said with a smile. Todoroki gives a nod and you two leave the bookstore.

"Was there anywhere else you wanted to go?" Todoroki asked. You thought about it but shook your head. "Not really, I just want to get back and read my Mangas." Todoroki chuckled. "I figured as much."

 "I got something for you winter." Todoroki said while dismounting Winter. He went into a sack and pulled out some carrots. Winter neighed happily from seeing the treat. 

"Yep, fresh in season." Todoroki pets the horse as he eats the carrots. "I'll see you soon buddy." That's when Todoroki entered through the kitchen door from the outside. "I had fun (y/n)." 

"So did I, thanks for the date." You placed a kiss on his cheek making the pale vampire blush. "I-I..u-um...mhm." Todoroki said while looking away. 

You giggled and made your way down the hall and knocked on Deku's room door. A few seconds later, the freckled cutie poked his head out. "I was taking a nap." He whined. 

"I've got yaoi." You said. "On second thought, who needs sleep. Come in." Deku said pulling you inside. You and Deku plopped on the bed and grabbed the first book. 

"What's this one?" Deku asked. "About an Arabian prince named Victor and a parlor dancer named Yuri." You and Deku squealed in excitement and turned the first page. 

"This one has all pictures with the writing!" Deku gasped. "They called it a Manga." You said. "Ooh, exciting." You two snuggled closer and started to read your manga.

Later that nightDinner was served and everyone went their separate ways. Some going to bed and some exploring the night. Midnight dimmed the candles in the halls and Aizawa...went straight to his leaving Midnight alone with the night duties.

"That lazy caterpillar, I'll find a way to get him." Midnight said while removing her glasses from her face and rubbing her tired eyes. "Maybe I should steal that weird yellow sack he sleeps in. That'll get him." Midnight made an evil chuckle and rubbed her hands together.

She slowly opened the door to Aizawa's room and saw he wasn't there. "Now where is that sack?" Midnight said while looking around his room. Upon snooping, she noticed something on the right nightstand.

"What's this?" She picked up the small photo and placed her glasses back on her face. In the photo, there was a young man with long blonde hair, vibrant wild green eyes, and a pair of glasses on his face.

"What the Hell are you doing in here?" A startled Midnight turned around and saw Aizawa with a towel around his waist and his long black hair dripping wet. 

"Oh...um...I-I was just...wait...you take showers?"

"Get the Hell out of here Dammit!" Aizawa fumed while chasing Midnight out with a lamp as a weapon.
