In a sunny forest somewhere in the world of Ralia...
When you're in a forest, most people with no experience have enough trouble trying not to trip over the roots as they stumble their way through. Many just want to pass through as quickly as possible, and few would want to call the jungle their home.
This story, though, is of those special few. The crazy few, who instead of ever making their way through a forest, decided to make the forest their final destination, their home. That's right, this is about the one race that many races in the world choose to fondly curse.
Those damn, crazy-ass elves.

"AAAAAH!"
Screams broke out. Oddly enough, none of the birds were startled, and none of them flew away. They were beyond used to it at this point, considering that this was the 7th time today people had yelled in fear as they fell from a giant tree.
"....You can stop yelling now." An elf who looked to be in his mid-20's called out in a bored voice. "You already landed in the safety net. Why are you still screaming?" He said exasperatedly, shaking his head, his brown hair shifting from side to side. "Seriously. Do all you Phoenixians have two left feet or something? Even our kids can do this."
One of the elves who had been screaming and thrashing about in the safety net stood up with an embarrassed look on his face, his ears reddening. "It's a lot harder than it looks, sir." With pointy ears that had reddened enough to match his red hair, his face was practically halfway through its transformation into a tomato. "Are you sure there isn't some kind of special skill or technique that lets us do this, Caius? Maybe some kind of racial ability that'll help us learn this faster?"
Caius, the brown-haired elf in his mid-20's, narrowed his eyes. Every time he looked at this guy, it felt like there was this burning ball of fire in his chest. He wasn't the only person in the village to feel that way about this Phoenixian either. EVERY man in their village HATED him with a passion. To anyone who hadn't met the man, they would be completely confused as to why people seemed to hate this person for seemingly no reason at all.
Of course, anyone who'd had the "joy" of meeting him would understand. They would completely understand the rational rage that others felt, as they'd feel the exact same way as soon as they saw the face of this dastardly good-looking elf with a "boy-next-door" persona. The way he was so innocently thick-headed and clumsy, women kept swarming him as their "protective instincts" were fiercely awakened as soon as came near.
One might think that after getting to know him, you'd realize that your first impression was wrong, and that he was actually just a regular guy like everyone else. You'd be wrong.
In the span of ONE DAY, this red-headed elf who went by the name of SharpSun XXII, had managed to trip and fall into the breasts of not 1, not 2, but 8 DIFFERENT WOMEN! The worst part of it was that because he had always managed to knock himself out for a good 5 minutes each time by doing so, all of the women in the village had readily forgiven him!!
Caius' fists clenched tighter, to the point where he felt like his hands might actually start bleeding. 'This bastard better stay away from Emilia, otherwise I'll make sure he spends his next 6 rebirths being pushed off one of the far edges of the city to the forest floor!' Although the brown-haired elf was not the jealous-type, making sure that his fiancee was nowhere near this red-haired pervert wasn't being jealous. This was just due diligence.
He took in a deep breath before letting it go. 'Calm down, Caius. You're an elf in his mid-250's. You're a mature adult, and you're not going to get angry at a few Phoenixians just because they're stupid idiots.' Despite the fact that he was trying to rationalize his anger away, it was only picturing the hilarious look on the face of SharpSun XXII as he fell off the edge of the city down towards the forest floor hundreds of feet below which calmed him down.
